Yay you are here!!

I'm on a pumping/breakfast / smartphone break, 2nd solo mama day, while e naps. Hoping to shower & feed her before running errands. Miss you!

I'm already eyeballing a couple of outfits to pass on to the new girl in October. :)

How's the solo mama thing going? I remember when Scott went back to work after being at home for three weeks after Gabe was born. It was scary, but it all worked out great and we got some awesome alone time.

OK, but I woke with a wrenched shoulder today, now getting tough to move my arm! Had planned to go to the baby cafe & pick my sister up @ the t, now trying to sort out how to move so I can lift e. :/

Still no latching. Otherwise, getting easier, but still some crazy meltdowns. Whee!

Hope your shoulder feels better soon. I co-slept with Gabe in the crook of my arm every night for two months after he was born (it was the only way for us to get any sleep) and I screwed up my shoulder royally for a while.

Have you tried the Happiest Baby on the Block techniques (4 S's)? It was miraculous for us during the Witching Hour ;)

I really love Pittsburgh. We are 15 minutes outside of the city in the North Hills. It's awesome having the city so close, especially since there are so many museums and cultural things to do nearby! The Children's Museum and the Warhol are awesome. Eventually, we'll get a Carnegie membership so we can visit all of the museums with the kids.

I do miss Boston sometimes though. Eventually, I'll come out for a long weekend, but that will be far, far in the future I'm sure. *hug

glad to hear you are doing well :) and thanks for the update. we are missing you here! inara is 19 months now and it is wonderful to see her personality really coming out. i really love watching this age group play together. sort of still in their own worlds but becoming more curious about their peers!
