I'm gonna try it. In 2008, I'm going to try to do the Discovery Channel's National Body Challenge.
I'm 5'5-1/2" and about 265. I DESPERATELY need to lose at least 40 pounds. Ideally, I need to lose 75 to 85 pounds. My doctors would like me to lose 100 (my doctors can go to Guinea, too).
Me, I don't care how much I lose. I just want to feel better and be healthier. I want to move more. I want to be more active and feel going doing it. I want to feel better emotionally.
So, I'm going to try to do Discovery's National Body Challenge. I'm hoping that the support they offer online will help me and keep me on track. I'm also hoping I can find someone that will do the challenge with me. I'm going to try to talk my mom into do it with me because she needs to lose some weight (she says) and try to be healthier.
The only thing I can see myself having a problem with is that Bally's 8 week membership. They can keep that. I hate my Bally's. I'll go to Curves instead. I know it won't be the same thing but that's ok. Considering how out of shape I am, it will be a good start and once my confidence returns, I can start working out at the rec center on campus.
To everyone that checks out my J - please let me know if you would be interested in joining me.
Look out 2008 and the beginning of my 40s - here I come! :c)
