So, I'm actually alive
Even though Hurricane Ike was barely a hurricane 3, it still managed to cause a heck of a lot of damage. The good news? We have no major house damage (aside from a couple of loose roof tiles), and we only lost 2 trees, neither of which hit our house. Bad news? Emily had another seizure and we had several tornados come down our street. We finally got our power back today (we were going to maybe get it by Friday, but they worked faster than wer expected), which is the reason I can post this anyway.
Luckily, Emily's seizure wasn't a major one and only lasted for about a minute. I still managed to make the whole street panic and they all called 911... Oops. So aside from her shoulder hurting where she hit the floor, she's ok, my parents are ok, my other sister and I are ok.
^_^ Now to catch up on what's on my flist...
(Anyone know anything about Di or Akanksha? I haven't had a response from Katie either, but I shall check her blog...)
