my darling most beautiful boy lost his cherubic, angelic (can you be both?), botticelli curls this weekend.  my heart is broken because he's not a baby anymore but has become a little boy.  it's bizarre, amazing, and a little bit shocking how much cutting his hair changed his entire face and body.  he looks taller!  i didn't know jenn had done it ( Read more... )

after months of waiting, josh and jenn just called me to tell me that enzo said my name!!!!!!!!  and they put him on speaker phone and he said it again!!!!!  so i got to hear him.  he said my name clear as day!!!!  no nicknames, no wacky mixings up of julia.  just straight julia!!!!  i'm so excited.  my nephew rocks...

i think my darling nephew has generously given me some sort of wretched crud.  i'm hoping this wierd cough and metallic tang doesn't turn out to be more than just an icky cold.  but i have cancelled my work day and am in bed watching series 3 of the doctor ( Read more... )
