That Gucci bag makes me want to quit fashion forever. It's only marginally better than the Vuitton patchwork ones. Why must people make ugly bags? I can cope with the existence of Dooney & Burke, based on the justification that someone has to make teenage tasteless crap, but that argument falls apart when the big fashion houses start making uggeriffic pieces. Luckily I just got this Ted Baker bag in green leather:
It folds in half from big shoulder bag to smaller handbag! Truly it is beautiful.

Now I hate Giannini even more now. By the way, I'm loving your posts on Too Fat for Fashion. What's also depressing about Gucci's current fug is how enthusiastically consumers embrace it. Aargh, that LV bag. Why Marc, why?
Oooh, your Ted Baker bag is yummy.
I'm not familiar with van Assche's stuff, and am curious to see what he's gonna do with Dior Homme, like, is he gonna carry the skinny muso-shaped torch of his mentor. I had no idea Maev Kennedy writes about fashion too, and she does it so amusingly. I love how in that short article "Doherty" appears 5 times.

Kris Van Assche is replacing Slimane. Hmmm.
