I want to skip ahead to Monday and look back and see how I negotiated everything I have to do between now and the weekend. Jeez Louise. I'm with ya on the not being social, Holly. I have been a hermit crab, scuttling my way between classes, work, club meetings, the libraries, and all of the various computer labs. I have seen Zack only in passing, I have turned down "Heros" with La, and was unable to give Black Thunder a mohawk this afternoon. Ah well.
I spent the last hour in the dishroom of the smaller dining hall, collecting food and liquid waste in order to measure it. Green Alfred and Environmental Studies are partnering with the head of dining services to see if eliminating trays will significantly cut down on food waste in the dining halls. It will. In the larger dining hall we'll save about a TON of food per week if we don't use trays (we measured waste there a few weeks ago).
At dinner I sat with folk-dancing Freshman Michael, who pointed his fork at me and declared his hatred for me. I had to defend the trayless idea at Senate a few weeks ago, and he was not happy. Too bad.
OH WAIT! I have been doing social stuff. How quickly I forget the immediate past. I will write about last weekend in my next post :)
Off to senate to be the Trayless Scrooge spokesperson again. Heh heh.
