awww that really sucks. =( Jon recently had something like that happen to him. He bought his own personal laptop with him to work so that one of his employees could work on a (work related) project. After work he went out for a beer. He left and left his laptop at the bar in an expensive laptop bag... 15 minutes later he was at home, realized what happened, we rushed back to the bar. It was gone though, no one even turned it in or anything, someone just took it. People are so mean sometimes!!

oh no! poor jon! that's awful. way more awful than just an iPod being lost.

have i mentioned that i love your House icon, but that i'm not so sure of the turn the show has taken all of a sudden?

I was kind of not feeling too sure about it until tuesday's episode, I really liked it. I think there needs to be more snark from House and a little less of his looking vulnerable and sad. They are definitely trying to pull in the drama/love interest storyline to keep people tuning in each week though.

about a week and a half ago I lost my Karma (non-ipod mp3 player of the same size) somewhere between the airplane and my house.

That would have sounded cooler if the Karma wasn't really an mp3 player.

I had the exact same thought as I was writing this.

Maybe a teacher found it and turned it in at the office or something?

Wishfull thinking, perhaps?

I'm sorry, dearie.

**hugs** Aw, that *stinks*! I'm so sorry to hear about it. Where on earth do you work anyway??? And the kid who's stealing so he doesn't get beat up...is there any counseling or can he get moved to another school?

he's at our school because he can't be at a "normal" public school. I teach at a school for, well, umm, "troubled" adolescents ... if you want to call it that.
