1. Why do you prefer LJ over other blogging/social networking sites? I really love having a place where I can natter on about anything that interests me AND post pictures AND videos, etc. -- it's more accessible for making friends and being creative than Twitter or Tumblr. 2. How frequently do you post? On average, a couple times of day depending on how many awesome things I find around the internet or what my day is like. 3. How would you describe your writing style? (verbose, short-and-sweet) I'm a mixture: sometimes I'm uber wordy, sometimes I just post pics or small little thoughts/links. 4. How would you describe your journal's content? What are your interests outside of fandom? My journal is my sounding board: I post all about my own life, my worries, my plans, ask for advice, post my creative writing and mix CDs, and frequently post huge linkspams of interesting articles, news, and fandom-related goodness.
5. What are you looking for in an LJ friend? Someone who'll interact with me on a fairly regular basis through comments, etc., someone who shares a lot of my interests and would enjoy being friendly. :D 6. What do you carry around in your purse/handbag/on your person every day? My commonplace book/journal, a book to read, my camera, my bodhi beads, my phone, and assorted girly necessities. 7. You're holding a dinner party for your favourite fictional characters. Describe the affair to us: who you invite, what you eat, what you discuss... I'd probably invite Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood from HP, Sherlock Holmes and Mary Russell (Laurie R. King's books), Tony Stark, The Doctor (Nine, Ten, AND Eleven), Rose Tyler, Amy Pond, Donna Noble, and Special Agent Aloysius Pendergast (from the series by Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston), because they're all super interesting and intelligent and I'd love to just sit around eating sandwiches and talking about the most esoteric, crazy subjects followed by ridiculous parlour games like Charades. 8. You have to write a dissertation on fandom. What do you choose to write about? THIS IS AN EASY QUESTION, SINCE I'VE TOTALLY ALREADY DONE THIS: zombie films. If I had to do another thesis on fandom, it would be on Doctor Who and the psychology and themes that carry throughout the show. :D 9. Describe your dream vacation. A year traveling the world -- I'd go back to New Zealand and do more LOTR tours, I'd go to Paris for at least a month, Cardiff to the Roald Dahl Plaza, London to retrace the famous events in DW history, fit in an American road-trip somewhere in there, and I'd be sure to swing by Canada to meet a hot Mountie and hang out with Meaghan and my other Canadian pals! 10. What's the most embarrassing CD/Film/Book you've ever owned and do you still have it? Ummm... I honestly have no shame when it comes to books or movies or music, but I suppose I'm a tad bit ashamed that I still own my N*Sync CDs? X^D
I've been to: Hobbiton, Lothlorien, Helm's Deep, and Rivendell thus far, but I didn't get to visit the South Island whilst I was in Kiwi-a-go-go-land, so I didn't get to see where they filmed most of the big battle scenes. :D
Well, SHUCKS. Anyone who's clearly so made of win (and is a fan of Fables and zombies and awesomeness-at-large) should TOTES be a friend of mine. *ADDS*

Would you like to be friends? I have to few friends who still love Lord of the Rings and almost none who know Black Books.
