So his Dad wasn't here, no big deal! John was clearly old enough to take care of himself! Even his Dad said he was getting to that age and always kept saying how he was getting to be a responsible young adult. Only when John tried to play that card his Dad would remind him he was still a bit too young to watch some movies, talk about reaaally unfair. Bluh bluh bluh!! Speaking of cards, he's a growing magician! He should probably work on some card tricks some more.. Oh well, he could play outside on his front yard for a while until his Dad came home. That was until he questioned the yellow salamander following him everywhere, it was seriously attached to him! "Gosh! I didn't think Dad would get me a pet, it's not even my birthday! Hmm... You need a name though. What should I call you??"
So either you will find the small boy sitting on the grass trying to decide on a name with cards out and attempting to shuffle and play, or you will find him hand and hand with it walking just a few blocks into the city. Ssssshh, what his Dad doesn't know won't hurt! 'Sides, the way the buildings around looked different from his home couldn't help the curiosity.
