Who: truncates and you!
What: Dexter is on the "hunt" during the full moon. WHO WANTS TO INTERRUPT THIS??
Where: The streets and alleys.
When: Midnight/1 AM
Warnings: some mentions may be a bit disturbing, but I don't think it will get worse.

[Dexter had been itching for a kill lately. It didn't help that almost everyone he conversed with became wary of him straight away. Why would they do such a thing? Usually everyone liked him. Except Doakes, who, out of the whole department, was the only one to see something wrong with him. Monsters see monsters, that's how it was. Creeping through life just like anybody else -- only with more secrets.

It was harder to pinpoint people in Promenade. He couldn't look people up as easily. Whatever technology that existed could be hacked or turn on by accident. It was difficult. He didn't really mind too much, though. He liked challenges, and people here made things challenging.  It's why he couldn't go after those people. He had to go after the ones who are actual residents in Promenade, the ones that lived their 'normal' every day lives.

Of course, these normal lives had to have faults. Dexter knew that from the beginning. Every city has their monsters. Promenade had to have theirs, too. And boy, was he right. He had taken a liking to a local cafe. It had a nice view, and gave him a chance to watch people, to see which ones did what. Dexter always had a certain amount of luck. He always caught the bad guys, having a knack for seeing what others didn't. During his 'watch', he had come across a very special man. He went by the name of John -- plain, just like him -- and he had a family. His family wasn't quite so 'normal', though. Dexter had followed him to his house, which was in a rural part of the dream city, and, found that once John opened his garage, there was, indeed, a family. They were hung from ropes, upside-down and skinned, and John would always greet them in a suit and a top hat, tapping them with a long cane once or twice before leaving. People didn't die here forever, Dexter knew that, so he could only assume that John made a habit of going out and making a 'family' again, at least once a week.

So, tonight, he's waiting to strike, prowling the shadows until he sees John leave the bar nearby.]

(( ooc: whoever approaches Dexter, he may come off as edgy, dismissive, and maybe a little nervous. he's not holding anything, besides the tranquilizer in his pocket, and his clothes are very plain and fitted. jsyk, they're his kill clothes. ))
