oh these lovely nightmares
Who: Yuuta (meitori) and ANYONE NEARBY (or on the PORTALS)
What: A wraith has been lingering around Yuuta's apartment in House 10. It finally got to him.
When: Day 2 when he finally drags his battered butt home.
Where: House 10, Floor 3, Room 2
Warnings: Yuuta goes a little insane here thanks to the wraith.
Yuuta pants for air as he finally reached his apartment and locked the door, activating all of the sutras and wards he had taped against the windows and threshold. His first stop is the bathroom where he manages to get some clean water and bandage himself up. If he had some more gauze, he would look something akin to a mummy.
Little does he know that there is something in the room watching him, waiting. All this fighting has taken a toll on him, and well… using up any extra energy he might have to use his poorly developed powers doesn’t help one bit. Collapsing onto the couch, he doesn’t bother to move until something makes him gasp, sitting upright and ridged.
“Who’s there? Is someone there?”
He shakes his head. No-no one can be here. He rarely has visitors, and it’s not like he often invites anyone anyways.
I'm being ridiculous.
“N-No. There’s no one here. Baka, what are you thinking? It’s all the fighting…”
He takes in a deep breath.
“Yeah… that has to be it.”
No one is here watching me. No ghosts, no oni… there might be monsters around but I would see or hear them and the wards are keeping them away…
Later, the PORTAL comes back on-and you barely get a glimpse of some sort of shadow amongst the shadows of the room. Yuuta has fallen asleep on the couch… then… His voice rings loudly in your ears.
“NO-NO YOU’RE NOT HERE. YOU AREN’T YOU CAN’T BE.”
He’s up and awake, but it doesn’t seem like he’s acting normal. Shouting at something in front of him (that no one else can see) and without a voice to use isn’t like him. Or is it?
“GO AWAY! I LEFT YOU IN NAGASAKI! YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE UNDER HOUSE ARREST! How did you find me how did you get here you couldn’t even find me when I left Nagasaki how could you have gotten here no one knows how we got here why you why you of all people go away goawaygoawaygoawaygoaway!”
His last act before the PORTAL starts to show more static than video is throwing a small vase, expecting it to hit something other than the wall, the shards going everywhere and cutting his bare feet as he steps forward, looking like he's attempting to punch something.
