The pub door was propped open as it always was when she opened up Alea in the city, jukebox playing away quietly as a few of the locals drank and ate; it was an easy enough way to get a little extra information about any minor goings on. Not that she ever passed it on - what would be the point of it? She didn't sign up for the resistance group and as a guard she kept that under wraps but if anything had been worth reporting she'd pass it on to someone in the right position.
But today she was bored which was why a little something extra sat out on the bar - a few pewter bowls she'd dreamt up along with a first aid kit and her bone knife, all resting on a white towel. It had been far too long since she'd practiced Breithniú* seriously, even if all she got from the residents was unsatisfactory nonsense.
Well, at least it was better than the ghosts trying to steal her PORTAL whenever she left it lying out in the open.
