Special note: There is a thread marked 'voyage home'. Please do not tag this yet. We'll be having an encounter with a Sea King in that thread so ping me and let me know if you're up for fighting with it.
Ace had slept down at his new - or was it old - ship, just to make sure everything was set and ready; after all, being a captain was different to being a division commander and he wanted to make sure everything was set. Going out in the little striker just wasn't the same as going out to sea in a ship and this time he'd finally be able to explore properly but what was the fun in doing that alone? That was why he'd sent out the message, hoping people would join him because his nakama were sorely missed as was having a real adventure.
He adjusted his hat and grinned at the rising sun as he tethered his striker securely alongside the ship, waiting to see who would show up.
