Promenade was beautiful, really. It was just starting to get very familiar after five months in the city, and Dawn was getting a little bored of exploring places she had already seen.
This was exactly why, after stumbling on a large warehouse with boards covering what she thought was a door, she wanted to explore it. With some help from Vulcan, her trusty Lucario, she started to pull boards out of the way, trying to peer in through the cracks. Who lived there? What happened to their door? Why board it up? The two weren't exactly being quiet about it, so it stood to reason the inhabitant of the building would hear them.
What was that? Respect private property? Knock? What ridiculous notions!
