Urania stepped cautiously outside. Something had been up, something that made her feel an extremely rare sense of dread and when she'd read the stars, they'd swirled with a darkness she hadn't seen since she entered the dream world. But she couldn't stay inside forever, and she left House 11 for the cool night air, her hair swirling behind her in the wind as the goddess took to the streets.

The cut of her hair reminds him of home, of Rapture and women who wanted to make it big, who came to him begging to be made more beautiful than the next big thing. He lifted their faces and perked their breasts and made them what he, at the time, had considered beautiful.

He wishes he could go back and undo every stitch and suture, but he can't. Many are dead already. But this woman (he doesn't know what she is, and that's for the best, as far as his work is concerned)... he can make up for his previous failings with her.

It isn't hard to slip up behind her and stab her with the sedative.

Urania feels the sharp prick of the needle, and she half-manages to twist around, her eyes narrowing. Then the sedative hits her system, and it's a powerful one, making her sway on her feet and making her eyelashes flutter before she crumples. Her eyes are closed and she breathes evenly, like she's sleeping.

It's something she hasn't done here.

Steinman carefully moves her into a wheelchair that he's dreamt up and moves. His hideout is near the beach, the basement of an old warehouse, and Urania won't be alone there. In addition to the other people he's captured during this, Steinman has found other residents to work on.

While she sleeps, perhaps he will fix her up... put stars in her eyes, since she looks so much like those women back home who just wanted to make it big.

Her head lolls to one side as her hair falls across one shoulder, not rousing as the wheelchair is pushed through the streets and down to the water. Urania's breath is even and quiet.

When she does wake, she has no idea where she is, and she feels sluggish as she sits up. "Hello?" she says, pushing her hair back. "Hello?"

The room is quiet and clearly smells like blood. There is a light over the operating table that she's been placed on, and it seems to be the only source of light in the room. It catches on surgical instruments that have clearly been used, on syringes and scalpels and saws.

"Oh... It clearly wasn't a strong enough dose." The voice comes from behind her, and Steinman tries to inject her once again. This one probably won't be enough to knock her out -- but if it connects, it should be enough to keep her still.

She's not as strong as most of the rest of her family, and the...dose, whatever it was, it still has her feeling woozy and off-balance. She flails her arm at him, and she can feel that if she had just a little more strength behind it, she could knock him away.

But she doesn't, and Urania collapses back against the table again, entirely awake but somehow unable to move. Move, or do anything, and her eyes are wide with fear.
