Giving Thanks #11
11_ I am thankful for the Veterans, today! I feel like America is making more of an attempt to thank the Veterans more times than just on Veterans day. For instance, high school football games now salute the veterans. Nearly every sport team has a "Veterans Night" and it's good to see because we don't credit these people enough. As a whole, they are the reason for our freedoms in life. Not to mention, joining the military is such a great option for those who are sort of lost in the world at a young age and need to learn discipline, earn income, and be given a chance at something bigger than them. I wish we could find more things to do with our Veterans who are disabled or unemployed.
