An attempt to be thankful. (Part 1)
I have always liked trying to name something I am thankful for on each day during the month of November. I'm 10 days late so I'm going to make up for that now and try to keep myself caught up each day.
1_ I am thankful for God and all of his blessings. I know that He is always looking out for me, and hearing me even when I don't speak or say the right words. His presence in my life is important and I wish I could be even more close to Him. He's been looking out for me ever since I accepted Him into my life as a child. He's been the constant in Joey and I's relationship and we do well when we do Christ. I love Him so much and I'm so thankful for everything. I hope He is always this important to me and that I never stray from Him.
2_ I am thankful for Joey because he is a wonderful partner and I don't always tell him or show him in the right ways. He tries so hard to make me happy and to share his joy in everything he loves with me. He may not always be the nicest, and we may not always be so happy with each other, but he has always been there for me and I will always be there for him. He is my best friend and I'm so happy to have him.
3_ I am thankful for my dad. Finally, I am at the point in my life where my dad and I are connecting more than ever and it shows. We spend a lot of quality time together watching Joey's team play, watching the varsity volleyball team play, and doing other things. He's really helped me out in my life financially, and I owe it to him to be a person with a better savings and a good, secure life. He's always only wanted what was best for me and I'm thankful to have him. He's such a great role model for me, too.
4_ I am thankful for Shannon because she is kind of like a 2nd mother to me. She's such a nurturing big sister and she always takes care of Lara and I when we're together. She has learned to be the bigger person and to be more kind and I love her for that. We spend more time together, because she does my nails, but I also am able to give her some money for it at the same time and we do have good conversation. She helped me out with Lara's baby shower and she does more for Lara than anyone else in our family which takes a lot of stress away from me. I just love Shannon and I'm so thankful for her.
5_ I am thankful for my education because it has taken me places I've always wanted to go, and it has made the road to finding a career an easy path for me because I learned so much, and I had such great experiences in and out of the classroom these past 8 years. I'm so thankful for all of my jobs.
6_ I'm thankful for Kiley. She's been such a good coaching friend and she now got me an opportunity to coach club with her and so far, it's awesome! She wants me to be a better coach and she isn't selfish at all. I love her and I'm so glad that I met her!
7_ I'm thankful for Joey's family because they are awesome and so kind to me. Joey's mom is so loving and just yearns to be closer with me. Joey's dad is so quiet and humble and so happy. I love his siblings, too. His grandma's are amazing!
8_ I'm thankful for Winston because he's my entire world. I can't even believe I waited this long to bring his little butt up. He's the most important thing in my life and I'll love and protect him for his entire life. He's my best friend.
9_ I'm thankful for my car because it was my first big purchase and I love her. She's a great car.
10_ I'm thankful for my relationship with Mary and Elizabeth because they're like a 2nd family to me, especially now that Lara is pregnant with Violet. I've always valued their friendship and we've always been close so I'm just happy to be even closer with them now.
