Oh no! I care, I care a lot. I love animals, I love animals more than I love most people!
Your story really, really chills me. If my dog went missing, I would just die over worry and anguish. I really feel for you, and your poor other dog. Although that was a while ago, I know it still must be that slightly open wound.
Caring for animals is something I love. I'm so against hunting I usually tell people to their face that I despise them. I would never marry a man who pointed a gun at an animal. That is the way it's always been. I could never read Ol' Yeller when I was a kid, when the dog died I would always cry.
And I truely hope your dog feels better. My dog, Tess, who is another Golden Retriever (like my last dog) is this short, plump ball of energy. And she would never hurt anyone either, she's just so friendly and lovable. Not many people return the favor, though. She has bladder stones, as bad as that is, she also has seizures. Not regularly, but maybe once a year. She first did it when she was a puppy, and it scared the crap out of me. I had never seen a dog seize before in my life.
But, after all of this, she's still my dog. I bought her that way, diseases and all. So I just give her all the love I can, and treat her like my family. Just like we're all diseased and we all have faults.
So, (notice I ramble, too XD) with that in mind. I really just hope he feels better! I'll pray for him tonight, too. (I'm not at all religious, but I gotta talk to SOMEONE when I need some help. XD ) <3
