Stray Cardboard Boxes (11/?)

He licked his lips seductively, ignoring the strange look Donghae was sending him. The man simply didn’t understand his passion, his passion for ogling Geng’s ass of course. Donghae shared the same interest in Geng; just strangely not his butt.

The pink loving man didn’t understand what Donghae was ogling at while their gazes went elsewhere. Even Ryeowook would be stealing glances down there. “Quit giving me that strange look Hae, it’s perfectly natural.” Sungmin said as he frowned at the other male. The man smiled cutely and nodded. “Love to, but can’t! I have to protect Geng. You look like you want to operate on him! The aliens won’t like that!”

He sighed and rolled his eyes. He sure as hell wanted to operate on Geng in other places.

_

Mondays were usually the busiest days. Projects were being handed out and projects were usually due that day. For Sungmin, it was just another boring Monday. He slammed his hands down in annoyance, huffing out a sigh as he looked to the side in boredom. He was already done with work, so why sit on his ass for the rest of the work day? He could always check to see if Geng needed help.

Smiling widely to himself, he shot out of his seat, whizzing past Ryeowook who had a large stack of papers in his hands. The shorter male had spun around, accidently spilling his papers to the ground.

“Geng, are you there?” The pink loving man asked with a smile as he saw the Chinese man in his cubicle. Said man had turned around and addressed the younger with a smile. “Apparently so, Sungmin.” Geng replied with a soft chuckle, his eyes seemingly twinkling as he smiled at the male. He was a little upset about having to go to work, but he had gotten use to it. It wasn’t like he had to see Siwon’s face.

“What brings you to my humble cubicle?”

“Nothing, I just wanted to see if you needed anything.” The man smiled sweetly as he stared intently at Geng. Donghae was wrong. He had other reasons to like Geng other than his butt. The man just looked so handsome, yet he had such a gentle voice and a slender body to boot. He was not rough and overly manly like that bulky Siwon, but smooth and graceful.

Which meant it gave him a chance to dominate Geng.

_

To everyone else, Lee Donghae was as clueless as he looked. This was not true per say, he was just more intuitive than most. Leaning against the outside wall of Geng’s cubicle, he poked his head out.

“Psst! The aliens know what you want! They won’t be please!” He jumped out, earning an annoyed look from Sungmin and a confused look from Geng.

“Hae, get out of here. Don’t you have work to do?”

“I’m already done! I came here to see if you plan to operate on Geng!” Sungmin slapped himself and sighed in exasperation. Geng panicked, looking disturbed at the young man’s statement.

“Operate on me?!”

“Yes! Operate. Sungmin wishes to operate you! He claims you have an unusually high tempered derrière.”

“High tempered…What?!” The man asked, eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he looked to Donghae and then to Sungmin.

“Hae! Quit it!” His normally pale face was stained with red, embarrassed at Donghae’s statement. Stupid Donghae couldn’t read the situation!

The fish loving man grinned widely and walked over to the oldest. “Ah! Before I forget, the aliens want to give you a message!” He closed the gap between Geng and himself, stealing a kiss from the man’s lips.

Grinning widely, he pulled away, and skipped out of the room, humming to himself.

Sungmin was beyond furious.

It turned out that Kibum had sneaked in a few too many sweets for Donghae to consume and had suggested to the man that the aliens wanted him to kiss Geng. He didn’t mind if Donghae was the one giving Geng a kiss, as long as it wasn’t that bimbo, Sungmin.

_

Out of the four, Eunhyuk would be considered the most mysterious. Sungmin was the perverted leader, Donghae was the weird one, and Ryeowook was the shy, cute one. Eunhyuk really didn’t fit into any of them except for being mysterious.

The man smiled secretively to himself as he marched to Geng’s cubicle right after Sungmin had stormed out in anger. “Geng? Are you busy? I was wondering if you can help me with something.” The young man asked as he looked to the older man with a gummy smile.

“You couldn’t reach the outlet?” The Chinese man asked, glancing over to Eunhyuk with a puzzled expression.

“Not really. I was hoping you could. You have longer legs and arms.” Eunhyuk replied sheepishly as he lowered his gaze to the floor. Geng chuckled softly and smiled, secretly pleased that someone had commented on his legs. He did have to say that he had rather long legs.

“It’s fine. It’s under the desk right?” The older man asked as he bent down and crawled under the desk in search of the outlet.

“Yep, somewhere under the desk.” Eunhyuk replied as he sat himself down on his chair. He smiled a gummy smile as he enjoyed the nice view he was getting. Geng pants were rather tight today.

To most, Eunhyuk was the mysterious out of the group. To a few, he was pretty sneaky in his own ways.

There was no outlet anywhere near the desk.

_

Being the nicest member in the group, Ryeowook would have to admit that it was a hard position sometimes. He would give into the demands of Sungmin, put up with Donghae’s crazy antics, and run away in fear from Kibum.

Today was one of those days where he would hide from Sungmin and perhaps Donghae since he knew he would get killed if he was anywhere near the male. He clutched the box of homemade cookies to his chest. He was supposed to give them to Geng, but he didn’t have the courage too.

His knees were already shaking from the thought of it.

The petite man peered into the cubicle, noticing that it was empty. Slightly relieved that Geng was nowhere to be found, he dropped the box of cookies on the desk, and walked out.

Perhaps today wasn’t a day where he could openly give the man a gift, but someday it will be.

The satisfied man walked to his cubicle, happily daydreaming. Until he caught sight of Geng’s wriggling ass from under the desk that is.

It was just another day at the office.

Cho Kyuhyun did not understand the strange phenomenon that had hit Korea. Halloween was a Western tradition that should have stayed there. Then again, he did understand the need for companies to turn this Halloween into a huge profit.

Thus, he had been tasked with the job of passing out candies while his dear owner went out with his co-workers. Needless to say he wasn’t pleased. Cho Kyuhyun wasn’t happy.

He growled in frustration as he opened the door. Scratching his stomach lazily with one hand while the other carried the bowl of candy, he gazed in boredom at the trick-or-treater outside.

“Aren’t you too old for this?” The snarky man retorted as he stared at the tall, pimply teenager clad in a makeshift pirate costume.

He had given the teenager his candy in fear of getting his face pounded.

It wasn’t so bad, Kyuhyun thought with a shrug as he waddled his way to the couch. He flopped down and sighed, picking up his pooh bear while he continued his movie. Staying at home, watching horror movies, and passing out candy. What a way to spend the night.

He lied down and smiled. It had been amusing to see the two little girls screeching at him in horror when he had answered the doorbell in nothing but his Pooh bear boxers, which he had made Geng buy for him.

He was starting to like this Halloween. Taking a candy from the bowl, he popped it into his mouth, and smiled. The scaring part was fun.

A loud knock interrupted him from his thoughts.

He was scolded three times that night by middle-aged mothers.

Scratch that, Cho Kyuhyun hated Halloween.

_

“Is there any reason why all the moms in the building were glaring at me?”

He sighed softly as he slammed the door shut with his foot, just knowing that Kyuhyun had to behind it. The mothers were usually so nice to him too! They showered him with fresh baked goods and gifts! It would be hard to earn their approval. Although he didn’t know that it would be quite easy since the women in the building all thought he was cute.

Poor Geng had some real cougars after him. He just didn’t know it yet.

“They’re just jealous of your ass. Since they’re old, theirs get all wrinkly.” The snarky male replied in a speedy matter. He didn’t really want to tell Geng the real reason why they had been glaring.

The Chinese man rolled his eyes, already knowing that the snide comment was a cover up. He was already getting use to Kyuhyun’s perverted and snarky remarks.

“I’ll ask you later. How was your night?” He hanged his coat up, loosening his tie as he walked over to the couch to get a better look at the younger. Thankfully, Kyuhyun had traded his boxers for a pair of pajama pants and tee shirt for decency.

“Hn, the usual…Brats ringing up the door while they beg for candies dressed in hideous fabric that costs more than my whole daily attire put together. What do you think?” He looked to him from where he was sitting and yawned lazily.

“Apparently you had fun.” He swatted the male’s legs away with his hands before plopping down, looking to his pet dog. The pet stared at his master, an annoyed look on his pale features. He scooted closer to the man and lowered his body down in a quick manner, resting his head on Geng’s lap. A self satisfied smirk present on his lips as he closed his eyes, his face content.

The older man sighed softly and looked down at his pet, fondness in his eyes as he played with the male’s soft brown locks.

“Oh, I think I see a white hair.”

_

Everything had mellowed out for Geng. He was still moody over Siwon here and there. It was normal after all; he hadn’t completely gotten over the man. He was upset, he was furious beyond anything, yet he also didn’t really care. The sadness and anger had died slowly day by day until he was left with a pang of annoyance.

He was a man after all; thick headed, dense, and not quite as in tune with his emotions like women were. Even though he was missing some vital female organs, Geng was still a gentle and forgiving soul.

_

The typical day at the office usually consisted of fast typing, annoying phone calls, and occasional coffee breaks. It was that time again where Geng usually stopped for a cup of coffee.

But for Geng, he felt that today wasn’t the typical work day.

At that time, he had been making himself a cup of coffee. Pouring the dark content into a mug, he added two packs of sugar before stirring all that in. It was that very moment when Kibum had walked in.

Geng had stolen a glance as the male had entered and found it such a surprise that Kibum had not approached him. The man didn’t even look at him or smile. He found himself slightly disturbed yet relieved at the same time.

Said younger male had walked to his side; taking out a pot from the cupboard. He got some water and placed it on the stove; waiting for it to boil. Geng watched quietly as he sipped his cup of coffee in silence. Kibum was a mystery to him, somewhat annoying at times, but an overall mystery. He stared down at his coffee, shaking the mug gently.

Come to think of it, Kibum was annoying, but he hadn’t been around Geng for awhile.

A soft hissing sound interrupted his thoughts, forcing his gaze upwards. Kibum was clutching his left hand; the man’s usual nonchalant face was fixated into a look of pain. His eyes traveled to the hot water on the floor, suspecting what the male had done.

“Are you okay?” He placed his mug down and walked over to the younger who in turned stared and him and nodded numbly. Kibum didn’t say anything as he backed away from Geng. The Chinese man was confused at this, noticing that Kibum was avoiding his gaze and inching away from him.

He took a step forward, stretching his hand out to grab the man’s injured hand. “You should get it fixed. The water was too hot. Your nerves might be damaged for all you know.” He shot him a firm look, daring the younger to question him.

“I..It’s fine, Geng. Thank you for your concern, but I think I can handle this.” The younger man stared at his injured hand, frowning gently. Before he was able to say anymore, he was seized by the older. Kicking and protesting on the way, Geng had managed to drag the injured co-worker to the table.

Once seated, Kibum looked to the older, a calm look on his expression. “Look, I really appreciate your concern, Geng..But I really need to get to work, I have this assignment due in the next hour.” He waved his injured free hand, hoping the male would consent and leave him alone.

Geng looked thoughtful before narrowing his eyes at the younger. “You’re lying. Everyone knows all assignments were due yesterday.” He sighed and raked a hand through his hair before kneeling down on the floor; taking Kibum’s injured hand into his.

“Most likely you’ll need ice on this. Nothing was burned apparently. Can you move it?” He peered up to stare, chocolate brown eyes boring into Kibum’s skull.

“Just a little, it still hurts though.” He stared at his limp, injured hand in the man’s tan ones. He noticed that Geng has nice hands. The fingers were long and slender yet it wasn’t feminine; firm and strong simultaneously. He watched as the Chinese man left to get a bag of ice from the refrigerator. Once Geng came back, Kibum looked to him in thought.

“Why are you being so nice to me? I thought you didn’t like me.”

He wanted to bitterly add that Geng didn’t like his advances either.

The older man sighed, a tired look on his gentle features. “Just shut up and let me help you. I don’t quite like you, but I can’t really say that. I don’t really know you, you know? I think you’re weird and lacking in social skills.” Geng looked up and flashed him a smile; giving Kibum the bag of ice. He stood up and stretched before muffling a yawn with his hand.

“You’re also sneaky and conniving. You know about me, so it’s best to treat you nicely.” The soft smile turned into a small smirk as the older man tilted his head to the side; looking at Kibum. Having Kibum sit on the chair while he towered over him, he realized that he was able to observe the male more closely.

Geng noted in amusement that Kibum looked troubled. Seated on the chair before Geng, Kibum looked young like how he was suppose to be. He didn’t look mysterious, but instead pained and vulnerable. It was as if this single occurrence had allowed Geng to view Kibum’s moment of weakness.

The Chinese man noted in amusement that Kibum looked quite handsome; or cute. He didn’t have Siwon’s firm features and prominent eyebrows; he didn’t have Kyuhyun’s acne or bratty expressions. Instead, he had pale smooth skin, soft lips formed into displeasure, dark eyes clouded in mystery, and that black boyish hair that framed Kibum’s youth.

His eyes darted to a piece of red thread on the male’s collar. Deciding to get even for last time, he leaned forward and plucked the red string away. Geng didn’t move away, but merely eyed Kibum from where he was at, face in close proximity.

“You have a piece of thread there, thought I help you with that.” He smiled and chuckled softly, noticing that Kibum had actually gotten stiff. He noticed a strong scent coming from the male and pulled away.

Eyebrow raised, Geng looked down at the younger. “Are you wearing Calvin Klein’s Obsession? I think it suits you. Although, I think I prefer CK One better.”

He yawned once more and threw the younger a smile before walking out the door.

“I best get going now. I still have some unfinished work to do unfortunately. Take care of your hand of yours. It’s a shame that it had to be your left.”

Kibum watched shocked and slightly disturbed at the man’s actions. He had never thought Geng was the type nor had the guts. The man was always a pushover, too nice, and completely in love with Siwon. This Geng was different. It was as if Kibum was seeing the Geng back in China and not the one in Korea. That was ridiculous considering he didn’t even know if Geng acted differently back home.

He sighed softly and slumped down, shoulders sagging in exhaustion.

This intrigued him. He wanted Geng even more now.

_

He was glad to be at home. Work was alright, but Geng always preferred being at home and doing absolutely nothing. He was sure that he wasn’t the only one who thought that. He yawned softly as he kicked off his shoes, bending over to arrange them neatly. Just as he bent down, a white-blue blur flew at him, tackling him to the floor.

Kyuhyun grinned widely, enjoying the shock look on his master’s face before it turned to its usual look of annoyance.

“Down boy!” The Chinese man called out as he gave the younger a tired look. He could have sworn he saw a wagging tail attached to Kyuhyun’s behind. It was as if he had a real dog.

“No. You smell strange, different.” The younger man remarked with a soft frown, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. He leaned closer to Geng, faintly smelling him on the neck. “Did you switch cologne?”

Geng rolled his eyes and pushed the other off gently. He got off and dusted the invisible dirt off his body, shooting Kyuhyun another look. “No and shut up about it.” Kyuhyun was about to protest before the man had told him to shut up. Keeping his mouth firmly tight, he crossed his arms, sulking.

“I’ll give you a bath if you get the water ready and everything.” The sulky look was wiped off the man’s face, replaced with another devious grin.

He was already gone before Geng had the chance to tell him. He didn’t want another incident where he walked on Kyuhyun naked.

_

“A little to the left please, oh! Behind the ears as well!” The troublesome, spoiled pet said as he relaxed further into the tub. His eyes were closed shut as his arms dangled out of the tub lazily, everything about him just reeked laziness.

The soapy bubbles covered all the good bits so Geng didn’t really need to cover his eyes. They were both guys anyways and Kyuhyun was his pet after all. He remained silent as he followed the younger’s demands. This was one of the rare moments were Geng would listen to whatever Kyuhyun had said. It was doggy time for Kyuhyun.

“Mmm..” The pet sighed contently as he smiled in bliss, eyes still closed shut. The dreamy look on Kyuhyun’s feature told Geng that he was doing his job right. He had to smile at that; at least he was making someone else’s life a little easier.

“You have magic fingers, you know that? It’s like they know every sensitive spot. It’s not painful too. You’re doing it really gently.” Kyuhyun purred out softly, his voice low and velvety. “I think I could have an orgasm just by you doing this.”

He smiled wryly. “Please don’t.”

Kyuhyun cracked open his eyes and smiled. “I can’t help it though. You really do have magic fingers.” He chuckled softly, saying no more because it would only annoy Geng. He didn’t want the man to be annoyed at him.

He sighed and shook his head at the younger male. “Well, tell me when you feel like you’ve had enough okay?” He moved to the side, looking at Kyuhyun.

Blinking as pale hands clasped on his shirt, he raised an eyebrow at the younger who had sat up. Kyuhyun merely smiled, liking the fact that Geng had a confused look on his face. “I’ll never have enough, master.”

Vice-like hands gripped the shirt harder, yanking Geng into the tub in one swift motion. Geng couldn’t react fast enough as he was already submerged in the hot, soapy water. He sputtered; wet hair clinging to his face as he gasped.

Kyuhyun knew, Geng had certainly felt that.

“This is sudden. I know you’ll get annoyed, you probably are already. I just want to give you a break. You can get up and leave and we can pretend this never happened, or you can stay and we’ll see where this takes off.”

He didn’t know he had held his breath, but he had released it as he stared into the older man’s eyes.

The chocolate brown eyes of Geng’s were staring straight at him, a look of yearning in them.

He gasped softly.

To Be Continued…

A/N: Okay, please don’t hurt me! I know it took forever, but my poor excuse is that college practically has taken over me. I will not be updating for another ten days. So for a week and a half, I’ll be gone once more. Don’t worry, I’ll come back! Three week Winter Vacation! You guys know what that means!

Anyways, enough of the morbid talk, I hope you guys didn’t mind this chapter. Not much really happened. Well, nothing dramatic or anything. I wanted this to be a fun chapter, which was why I gave the quartet mini parts of their own since they’ve been missing for awhile. Please leave a comment, it would be much appreciated. Also, I know I probably have a ton of grammar errors and errors in general. -Froths-
