I'm busy at the Beau's place, the floor is covered in bits of leather in various colours, there's sharp objects, paper, weapons, half-made projects, hammers, rivets, ADOS and other crafty bits scattered around as we make stuff for Teonn.
As we chit chat back and forth, he's got Lindsey Stirling playing in the background, namely her rendition of The Phantom of the Opera.
He remarked about a mutual friend who thinks he can sing and tried to serenade someone in a LARP with this song.
I rather cheekily suggested that if the Beau and I ever happen to be in a similar LARP with those two that perhaps he should show them how it's done and serenade me with it.
When he turned to grin mischeviously at me, as if on cue the music changed from 'sweet and innocent' to the ominous DUN DUN DUN DUUUUUN that usually cues the Phantom's grand entrance.
*grin* I think that's a good omen, don't you?
In other news, the GMs of Teonn have asked me to bring along a costume with me that I made for Into the Woods at Chimera, a kind of LARP convention. The particular character I was playing is The Monster Under The Bed.
Considering that I'm loaning it to the crew and what I put my opposite number through (the little girl who's bed I was living under) why do I get this feeling of impending terror?
