Yes, many people have forgotten the lessons of history dating back to World War II.
Imagine my surprise that our President-Elect is Barak Obama. I'm not unhappy about this fact. Far from it. I wish him the best of luck and hope he does a better job of keeping this country in the direction it needs to go.
Where my disappointment lays is within the various Congressional races and Gubernatorial races in the country.
For the first time in my life, I am ASHAMED of my country. My country is filled with lemmings. In a grand scale game of follow the leader, our country has given Democrats, especially hardcore radical superleftist liberal Democrats, a total lock on this country.
They have the presidency
the U.S. House of Representatives,
and, as of 11:00pm EST, not-quite-yet full control of the Senate.
Lord help us if Liberal leaning (Hell, even conservative leaning. I want Moderates, dammit!) Supreme Court Justices are appointed incase of retirement or death.
I do not want my country run by one party. And yet we have done just that.
We, the people of the United States of America, have democratically elected an Autocratic, Fascist government.
May god, Allah, or whomever you believe in, have mercy on our souls.
