I DID IT!
I finally signed up and PAID for a workout class!
Aerobics and Strength Training every Wednesday at the Community Center. I'm so excited and ready for this. When I found out that I only gained one pound since Ramadan ended, I was so motivated.
Losing 10 pounds by my birthday is the goal. That's exactly two months to do so. And I'm not talking water weight or a quick fix; I want to lose weight as permanently as possible. That's why I figure 5 pounds a month is a reasonable goal. The class ends March 9...right in time for my bday.
I almost decided not to, but after lots of GMAT studying at Borders, I made a quick stop at the Recreation Dept. and gave them my damn credit card and got it over with. NO PROCRASTINATION!
*phew* What a great feeling. I have a week and a half to buy weights (I usually use my 8 pounders, but for this class I'll need something smaller and lighter) and a mat. Amazon.com, here I come.
