While I was in India (I know, I still need to post about that trip. Bear with me.), I got myself a lot of bangles. I was in India. How could I NOT buy bangles? Okay, maybe I didn't really buy a LOT, but it's a lot to me. Anyways, the container that I was given was not big enough to hold everything I bought along with other random bracelets I've gotten in the past. I wanted a way of storing them all together nicely.
I searched on Pinterest and found some suggestions on how to do it. For months, I collected the materials and then it just sat in a corner, waiting to be put together. Finally, I took the time to put it together. I deviated from the Pinterest suggestions but I think everyone does to accommodate what they can find and what they want to do. Here's what I started with: a shoe box, some toilet paper rolls, and some chopsticks.
I spray painted everything (guess what color? =) ), drilled (more like hammered) holes, put everything together, and here's the outcome.
I'm sure some of you recognize some of the items in there. =) There are some flaws with it. Mainly, the "sections" were too close together so the bracelets hit each other. I'll have to make modifications but overall, it turned out pretty well. Now, it will have a prominent spot in my closet. =)
