My pretty new toy
After many many months of riding the bus, I finally decided to buy a car. =)
I thought that I would be able to survive without a car. I mean, I was really close to the bus line and the bus takes me to work and it runs pretty often. It seemed so convenient. I mean, I didn't have a car my entire time in Saskatoon and that wasn't too much trouble. Why would it be any different now?
Well, the difference is that there's NOTHING to do in Saskatoon! hahaha. There are so many more malls and events to go to in the Seattle area. It is actually hard to go to many places in one day. It became a problem when I got really busy with work and I didn't have a lot of time to run errands.
After a week of thorough investigation by my parents, I am now the proud owner of a Honda Civic!
Isn't it pretty? =) It has a back-up camera so that when you go reverse, you get a video of what's behind you, with guidelines. I have never backed into a space nicely or ever. But I did it with this car! And with such ease!
I'm loving it so far. Took me to so many stores and bought so much stuff already. I'm still being ever so careful not to get scratches on it, parking far away from other cars, not to eat in the car and ruin the smell. I'm going to have so much fun with the car. I think it's time to plan a road trip. =D
