Assignment
I just got my assignment for my Permanent Duty Station. If I can't switch with anybody, then by November 1st I'll be stationed in Maryland. A whole 6 hours from home. I'm a little disappointed. I joined the military in part to see new places, so it would kind of suck to be so close to home. On the bright side, it would be a lot cheaper to come home for holidays, and there are far more job opportunities for me in Maryland, as that's where all of the government intel is. Whatever happens happens for a reason, so I'll take what I get.
