It's the final countdown
I am leaving in a week and a half. 11 days. Actually...it's almost tomorrow, so we'll round it off to 10 days. My room is still a disaster. I start to box things up, but then I have to find something I wanted that I already packed...it's terribly frustrating. I'm excited to leave, though. Just think about it.....if I sign for 6 years ($13,000 bonus if I do), then I'll have two years of schooling (language and intelligence training), and 4 years to really get enough experience in my language so that if I decide to get out after my 6 years, I can find a great job pretty much wherever. My life is set. It's an exciting thought, having a plan for your future. Like a really good, solid plan. I've never felt this good about anything before. It's comforting. AAANNNDDD I won't have to see snow this winter!!!!!
