Anastasia sat riveted to the tv, as the classic film played. Billy hoped she would enjoy it despite her expectation that the Princess would free herself and defeat the bad guys.
When she got old enough, he'd introduce her to "The Xena Scrolls".
As it was, he was just enjoying spending a quiet moment with his daughter. Despite the fact that the family vacation he'd taken had been almost as strenuous as some missions with G.I. Joe, they'd all had a wonderful time. But Billy was so very glad that Snake-Eyes and Scarlett had been along to help keep an eye on Tommy.
The boy had taken to crawling like a fish to water, then had skipped walking, going right to running, and climbing apparently. He'd actually had the kid on a harness sometimes, and he feared the boy would houdini his way out of it.
The running joke amongst the Joe team was that since Billy had kids, none of the rest of them had to. They could just borrow his, get them sugared up, and give them back.
