Astoria, Oregon Monday Night
Welp, first year of graduate school was done. And Billy just wanted to take a week to relax before the real work began. A summer with his kids. And his sister and parents and probably some others too. But primarily it was him, Anastasia, and Tommy. A Tommy who was already proving to be a handful what with his being absolutely enamored of being mobile. And Anastasia was, while eager to help care for her brother, was getting more and more adventurous herself.
Then there was the constant fun of trying to plan excursions for them to be with their mother, without his finding out where she was. Because as long as he didn't know, he couldn't get in trouble for not telling the authorities. And seeing as how many of those Authorities had the prefix Aunt or Uncle when referred to by his kids that was just all kinds of awkward.
The only problem he wanted to deal with right now though, was figuring just where to take the family for the promised adventure.
