dear l0rn,

I have a really weird question that has nothing to do with your livejournal whatsoever,
but someone at a community i often visit posted a song by a (female) singer of which nobody knows a title or the name of the artist (The song has simply been tagged as 'track 14'). It's been bugging me ever since, and google-searching the lyrics didn't seem to give any results either, until i entered the sentence 'you built your house here, called it cathedral' - which led to one of your journals. So here I am, hoping that you can give me the title/ name of the artist. I'd be forever grateful!

FUCK YES.

i am super-stoked to give you the name of this band. the mastermind behind it is the person you should really look for: josephine foster. but the band you're looking for is "the children's hour". they're one of my favorite bands, and it speaks well of you (and your friends) that you know this lay-dee. her music also appears on locust records. if you want more of her music, she's really sweet and you could just shoot her an email about attaining her songs (for money, 'cause they's worth it.)

also, if you like the children's hour, check out born heller. they're really rad too. a little more acid-y, but still amazing.

OHHOHO THANK YOU SO MUCH and ohoho SHIT i said it was josephine foster but one of my friends said she was a 100% it's not! i'm so glad i can prove her wrong now HA!

I did a search for the children's hour just now, and if I'm right, the song i'm talking about is called "Mary"? I'll check out born heller asap.
