Welcome Back to Syracuse University!
To celebrate the 5th year of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Resource Center, we are inviting LGBTQA alumni to return to campus for a reunion that's not to be missed! The reunion will take place from April 20-22, 2007. The Rainbow Alumni Weekend will include activities for alumni to socialize and network, as well as, learn more about the exciting LGBT-related developments on campus such as the creation of an LGBT Studies Program and Minor launched in the Fall of 2006.
The hallmark event of the weekend will be the 5th Annual Rainbow Banquet on Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Regency Ballroom, Sheraton University Hotel. The Rainbow Banquet is an annual celebration of the accomplishments of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members who have worked to improved the quality of life for LGBT people on and off campus. The evening also includes recognition of graduating seniors and graduate students, a national LGBT speaker, and the infamous Queer Year in Review Slide Show. The keynote speaker for the banquet will be Matt Foreman, Executive Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.
Hotel Accommodations will be available for this weekend at the Sheraton University Hotel at the Syracuse University single rate of $114 and double rate of $124 per night . Registration costs for the weekend will be $60 and include one ticket to the Rainbow Banquet. Additional tickets to the Rainbow Banquet can be purchased for $30.

* 7 p.m.: Alumni and Faculty/Staff/Graduate Student Social
* 9 p.m.: Informal gathering at a local establishment (TBD)
Saturday, April 21
* 11 a.m. : Brunch at Sheraton (cost not included in registration fees)
* 12:30 p.m.: Campus Tour/Open House at the LGBT Resource Center
* 1:45 p.m.: LGBTQA Alumni Photo on the steps of Hendricks Chapel
* 2:00 p.m.: Panel on Queer Scholarship at the new Interdisciplinary Humanities Center
* 3:30 p.m.: Alumni Career Panel
* 6:00 p.m. : Pre-banquet reception at the Sheraton
* 6:45 p.m.: Rainbow Banquet with Matt Foreman
* 10:30 p.m.: Informal gathering at local establishment (TBD)
Sunday, April 22
* 11:30 a.m.: Informal Brunch at a Local Restaurant on Marshall Street (Cost not included in registration fees)
