(no subject)
I'm starting classes again in the Spring but I encountered a small snag. My mother took out a loan using my name and social security number in like 1982. And never paid it. Now the stupid federal government is holding back my financial aid because of it. Dammit.
Given that info about my mother and the identity theft that my brother perpetrated, is it really any surprise I have a checkered past of my own?
i was supposed to be flying out of Champaign at 6 AM this morning. I had an incredibly hard time getting to sleep until I finally took a double dose of Nyquil at 1 AM. Ah, Nyquil.
Only to be woken up about an hour later by a call from the airline saying that the first leg of my flight out of Champaign was canceled and they recommend I travel to Chicago on my own and pick up my flight from there. I told them "no" and they gave me the phone number for the airline.
After waiting on hold for literally a half hour, I spoke with a person and she put me on hold for another 20 minutes while she changed my flight plans. I now am scheduled to leave Champaign tomorrow at 8 AM. I hope that works. If not, I don't really want to go home for Christmas this year. Which will suck but whatever. It hardly even feels like Christmas anyway.
I'm determined to not have my bank balance dip into the negative numbers this month. I'm waiting until the very last minute to pay bills and I'm not spending as wantonly as I typically do.
