Support me: ☞ Give Kyza a coffee! ☜ A wonderful song that's sure to touch hearts especially due to the crisis we're all facing at this point in time. Stay safe and take care, everyone.
There's something about KinKi Kids that even if I don't understand what they're singing and specifically when they sing this kind of songs, I still feel something within my heart, something I can't even describe but it's there and the first time I heard and saw the performance of this song my heart felt like it was about to explode in emotions/ tears. It's so beautiful.
This pandemic has been really hard, I lost several family members and because funerals are not allowed it's really hard not being with the family in these difficult times. Or at least hug. But beacuse we love them we must restrain ourselves from certain things. This "contradiction" of loving them but cannot see each other hurts and it's lonesome but also has made us reflect about ourselves, our beloved ones and what can we do to protect them. So, in order to do that we first need to protect ourselves and make some sacrifices. I pray for this line: "overcome it until the day [we] meet again and embrace each other"
But as koichi said, many things born in such situations, and I want to believe that by working together we will get through these difficult times towards a brighter future, to a new era.
Also, thank you for your wonderful explanation in the notes. keeping these images in mind while reading the song definitely gives it a deeper meaning <3
That's the power of music and, of course, of KinKi Kids <3 I understand where you're coming from. I personally think it's because when they perform their songs, there's so much emotion to it, so many feelings involved. Even if they're not "loud" about it, you can tell from the way they sing and perform that what they're singing about goes beyond what we hear from them - their songs resonate to that which not only the eyes see and the ears hear, but even the heart feels :")
I'm so sorry to hear about that... Indeed, all the negative events we've all been put through especially in the past year have changed so much of what we've perceived as the norm. Every day is a struggle and now even more so than before. I agree with everything you've mentioned - sacrifice to save, to love, and to hope and finally, to look forward with inspiration.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. Getting to read them has added again another layer of depth to the lyrics Tsuyoshi has written and given to us <3
I'm cheering for you. Let's both hang in there and do our best, to be accepting and loving not only of others, but also of ourselves.
The way you phrased it was beautiful "what they're singing about goes beyond what we hear from them" exactly my thoughts, tbh, there's a few singers/ artists I know with that "power" and of course kinki is one of them, that's what make them special (among other things) <3
Yeah, 2020 was a very tough year indeed but let's try to see the positive. Thank you so much for your words, I'm also cheering for you. Lots of love <3
