My Normal Weekend
My Normal weekend was anything but normal but it was in Normal..Got me? Probably not but thats for you figure out if you dont already get it.
So as you all know I went to see Lana for the weekend for the first time since DLA:2 and for the first time since we got together..It was a long time in the coming cuz I just missed her like crazy! So after calling in sick on Thursday morning I started my trip at about 9:15 AM and set out with my directions to find Lana's place..Somewhere around Grand Rapids Michigan my directions stopped making sense and I was on my own to find my way..Somehow though I never even got lost once or anything and I arrived 12 hours later, a little worn but mostly just nervous and anxious to see her again..As soon as I got out of my car I was attacked by Knuckles her dog who snuck in the first kiss..Not quite how I imagined it going but it was all good..Me and Knuckles became tight friends! So after spending a little bit with Lana, her friend Kristin and her bf Jake came over to hang for a bit...They were both really cool so there was really no period of akwardness. The same goes for when I got to Lana's..It just felt right to be there with her but felt so wrong leaving again..So that night Lana and I did our own thing until we passed out from just being too tired.Things were said that night that just wouldnt make sense to anyone else in the world but us and thats a good thing cuz really its just bizarre random stuff from 2 Random bizarre people that fit together very well. Friday Lana had to work so I hung out with the friends again all day and just waited and waited and waited for Lana to get home..She finally did, but it took a bit for us to get the other 2 out of there. I mean they were really nice but I came to see LANA!! Hehehe. We headed to the club that night and danced a bit and then headed home for another night of random fun..Me and her laugh at stuff that I bet most people would be kinda freaked by..Shes just the best thing to ever come my way really.. Saturday we drove to Rockford to visit her Grandmother who was just the nicest lady..We got along well and talked about travelling and well CANADA!! Of course..I think I should be an Ambassador. Saturday night we called Kristin over to head to Walmart to pick things up for the BBQ on Sunday..Surprise Surprise Kristin stayed a few hours later then we would have liked but it didnt stop Lana and I from sitting on the swing in front of her place for 4 hours talking like an old married couple..It was really just kinda perfect..We have decided for some reason we will be married for 50 years..Who know after that....But I will be 81 so Im just happy to be alive then. Sunday we cleaned up a bit, Lana made me the greatest food in the world..I dont exagerate either..It was soo good and I forgot my care package of it when I left!!! Damn me! The BBQ turned out to be the 4 of us (the same 4 as above) Then after much waiting the other couple finally left.(I literally saw more of Kristin this weekend then Lana..Its just not right). Sunday night followed the script of the previous nights and was all good. I even let Lana watch a video of the second ever show my band played.. Good for a laugh but dont ask me to see it cuz I wont let you. Then came today the dumb day I had to leave.. It took me only 10 and a half hours to get home but it was a sad drive home with noone to talk to but little BOBBY bear.
