Summary: It was a wicked situation for Hyukjae and Ryeowook and it all began one year ago.

"Why don't you just try and talk to him?“ Hyukjae asked; a question that Sungmin could have slapped him for.

"I will most certainly not talk to him. He's gonna look at me like I'm some kind of-“

"He won't because you're gorgeous and you even know it. No, really. Tell me why you won't even try it?“

"What if he finds out about my undying obsession for him?”

Hyukjae had nothing to reply because indeed, it would be creepy if Cho Kyuhyun would find out about Lee Sungmin's unhealthy crush on him. So Sungmin just proceeded staring at said object of desire while Hyukjae thought of a way to get rid of that smell in his nose, the smell that was labeled Cho Kyuhyun's aftershave by Sungmin, the smell that has been following him every fucking second he was spending with Sungmin ever since he found out about Kyuhyun's preference for it.

“I have to watch this all the way until we die?”

“My my Hyukkie, don't exaggerate. You just have to watch it until we graduate. You're not even going to the University we're both enrolling in.”

“Dear lord. I didn't even know you two were about to go to the same College too! Your friend at University has to look at this pitiful image then? I doubt that anyone will volunteer to undergo this torture though.”

Sungmin gave a long, satisfied sigh. “Yes, I have no idea why I'm so lucky that he's registering for the same University as I did. It must be fate, the god of destiny wants us to be together.”

Hyukjae mentally flipped his best friend the bird and shoved another spoon with his lunch rice into his mouth. “So, you're spending the rest of your life like this?” he mumbled, mouth full. “That seems quite pitiful to me.”

“Don't be mean! It's just... I don't think I could be with him. I'm his obsessive stalker, remember? I'm weird. I'm not sure if I'd like an weird, obsessive stalker like me, I just can't help it.”

“I really don't get what you like about him.” Hyukjae raised an eyebrow, still continuing with the attempt of choking on his lunch. He needed to do something, distract himself, speaking of Kyuhyun like that wasn't the most comfortable thing to do.

“Eat slower. I still need you. And don't you see it? He's gorgeous! Funny and incredibly intelligent, too! Not to mention how he was dealing with the wound I got at that class trip into the woods. He's perfect, considerate, thoughtful and tall.”

“Tall?” Hyukjae halted his actions. “That's the reason for you to be that madly attracted to that guy?”

“One of the reasons. I mentioned a lot other traits that make him admirable, too!”

“You were stressing it. I could practically feel the letters in italic.” Hyukjae grinned before earning a playful slap on his arm and finishing his lunch box. “Now finish your food. Lunch time's almost over and it's getting creepy to see you staring at him like that non-stop. Not to mention how other people start to notice.”

It was no surprise though; Lee Sungmin himself was a popular bitch that usually earned admiring looks as soon as he entered a room. Not that he cared about that fact. His eyes were, without a fail, always set on Cho Kyuhyun as soon as he was within range.

And of course, this fact didn't remain unnoticed.

“Hey, Cho Kyuhyun-sshi.” the tall boy got called, turning around to face a muscular, taller man with a very handsome face.

“Oh, hi, Siwon-sshi.” Kyuhyun retorted without looking up from his PSP. /Rude guy much?/, Siwon thought with a raised eyebrow before clearing his throat.

“Are you and... and Lee Sungmin-sshi in any kind of relationship?”

Kyuhyun's heart skipped a beat. Fuck this shit, he was close to getting a heart attack.”Wha-what?” he whispered, eyes turning to Siwon and, note this, without pausing his game. “How did you get that idea?” he asked nervously. Siwon noted the other boys hands shaking and found it suspicious.

“Just wondering because Sungmin-sshi is staring at you right now. Just as he did yesterday. And the day before... and the day before that... and actually every day.”

“You're sharp. Are you observing him or something?” Kyuhyun had regained his composure and was now even smirking at the other male.

Siwon's smile didn't falter a bit, he just replied with confident voice. “I must say that I am not the only one doing so. But you're right, I do have laid an eye on Sungmin.”

“Well then, go and ask him about it yourself. All I can say is that me and him are not involved at the current moment.” Kyuhyun turned back to his PSP, cursing because he had forgotten to pause the game but then deciding to stop gaming for the day. His mind was occupied with another, more interesting matter.

Sungmin was about to pour a generous amount of salt into his cake batter before Ryeowook's little hand captured his, effectively hindering his friend from ruining their Culinary Class project.

“You.” the shorter boy began, growling dangerously low; his credits were jeopardized by his usually reliable partner after all. Well, 'usually' meant half a year ago, when Sungmin still was mentally at his best instead of ogling at Kyuhyun who, what an unfortunate coincidence, had joined their Culinary Class a few weeks after Sungmin had decided that this tall, lean boy was the love of his life. Ryeowook palmed his face before seemingly having a hard time to calm himself down. “You” he repeated and thought of a way to express his thoughts. “were just about to pour three cups of salt into a cinnamon apple cake batter.”

“Huh?” Sungmin blinked, brain finally processing that someone was talking to him. Ryeowook palmed his face again. No, smacking it was the better way to define what the boy was doing to his face in that moment.

“Just let me do the work.” Ryeowook had to slap Sungmin's hand three times before the older male realized that he was asked to let go of the salt-filled cup. “You're so slow, really.”

Then he heard a very unmanly squeak. “He just sneezed! Holy shit, that looked adorable.” Sungmin covered his mouth to prevent another delighted scream from escaping. Ryeowook reminded himself that their senior year was almost over and that he actually had enough credits already and that it wasn't that long until he would never ever have to deal with Sungmin in Culinary Class again.

“Awww... he's wiping his nose with a tissue...” Ryeowook was sure that his partner was already thinking of ways to get his fingers on this snot stained tissue. Yummy.

“Give me the mixer.” Sungmin gave him, without separating his glance from Kyuhyun, an apple. “Forget it.” Ryeowook got the mixer himself. “Really, if we weren't friends...” he murmured and sighed. How was it going to be in University? He doubted that this crush, if whatever Sungmin had on Kyuhyun was still in the dimensions of a simple crush, would leave any time soon.

The lesson ended and Ryeowook thanked god, who he didn't believe in, for saving their cake. It actually turned out decent which was certainly not Sungmin's credit.

“Don't.” Ryeowook growled as he was pulling Sungmin into the opposite direction of the bin that Kyuhyun had thrown his dirtied tissue in. “People will see.”

“But-”

“You have enough of them anyway.”

“But-”

“Hyung!” Ryeowook was once again starting to lose his patience. Sungmin pouted and unenthusiastically left the classroom.

Study hall consisted of Sungmin staring at a picture of Kyuhyun and mourning the fact that this was the only class he didn't have with him. Life was so mean. He believed that it was because of their teacher who somehow didn't like him. Sungmin stuck out his tongue into said teacher's direction who was, fortunately, busy lecturing Donghee about eating in class.

He felt something on his hand and turned to the left where Hyukjae was acting like writing something on his paper while actually staring at busty women in the Penthouse magazine in his lap. He lifted his head and turned to his best friend, motioning him to read the little piece of paper that Sungmin noticed just then. Sungmin frowned and nodded into Hyukjae's direction, wanting to know if the mysterious note was from him. Hyukjae shook his head and pointed at Siwon who was sitting on the other side of him. Sungmin made a little, clueless pout before turning to the note he just received.

What is Cho Kyuhyun to you?

Sungmin choked on an imaginary cookie. What?, he thought before reading the note another time. Was he becoming that obvious? What did Siwon want? Did he like Kyuhyun, too? The thought was driving Sungmin in a balance act between jealousy/possessiveness and joy about the fact that other people were appreciating Kyuhyun's perfecti- What was he even trying to tell himself? He was just jealous and possessive in that very moment, period. He looked over to Siwon only to see a little smile forming on the other guy's lips.

Why are you asking?, he wrote back and was close to breaking his pencil from while waiting for an answer.
Your staring at him is obvious; just curious if I still have a chance.

Sungmin angrily glared at the handsome boy. Ask him yourself. How would I know if you still had a chance?, he scribbled down and tossed the piece of paper on Siwon's head.

He was so mad and blinded from jealousy that he didn't even notice the teacher catching Hyukjae reading adult magazines next to him and Siwon shooting him a very confused glance.

It happened one year ago, when Sungmin and his class were on a trip to the woods. He remembered how he fell very unluckily, resulting into his knee bleeding in a dangerous looking way. He actually could see something white under all the blood, probably his patella, and how his skin was slowly peeling off his knee in bloody and dirty shreds while smithereens of wood, grass and several other unidentifiable things were stuck in said wound. It was not exactly delicious looking. He also remembered Kyuhyun carrying him back to his tent, his manly warmth and especially that incredibly calming scent effectively stopping him from thinking of the idea of dying at that very moment because holy lord, his leg was about to fall off! Did you see that wound?

He hadn't been crying because it was just not his way to cry over physical pain. But it was still enough of unbearable pain to have him scrunching up his face and Cho Kyuhyun whispering little, encouraging words to him (why was he whispering? They were alone.) with that goddamn low and husky and mellow and sexy voice to him. “It's gonna be alright.” While Sungmin tried hard not to stare at his knee that seemed to have a mesmerizing effect on him. “I know how to treat such a wound.” Sungmin decided to look away from his knee and into dark, brown and heartbeat-stopping warm eyes. “We're almost there, don't worry.” Sungmin felt how his heart was recovering little by little and now beating even faster than it had before. What was that feeling?

He looked away, hiding an innocent blush that he hadn't even realized himself and had a hard time not to stare at his knee again, now that he didn't even dare to look into Kyuhyun's eyes.

He was far away with his thoughts when he was gently (gently!) put down on his sleeping bag in his tent. Sungmin hadn't noticed that they've arrived, the image of his knee and Kyuhyun's eyes taking turns to mess with his mind. A silent scream escaped his mouth when he felt an excruciating burning on his knee, pulling it back in shock.

“I'm sorry, did it hurt that much?” Kyuhyun had his mouth open ajar, genuine fear about the possibility of having hurt Sungmin present in his eyes. He had been trying to disinfect the wound with iodine, not even putting it on the actual wound but on the slowly peeling of skin to avoid a septicemia.

“I-I was surprised.” Sungmin muttered before forcing himself to put his leg back on Kyuhyun's lap. It actually had felt really good and he had thought that he wouldn't have minded to stay like that a little longer - minus that burning in his wounds, of course.

Sungmin clenched his teeth, forcing himself to endure this a little longer and not making Kyuhyun have this look in his eyes again. But no matter how hard he tried, a few little whimpers just couldn't be suppressed and he wondered why he felt guilty every single time a noise was coming from his lips. Looking at Kyuhyun treating his wound was doing a good job in distracting him a bit and it left a content, satisfied feeling in his chest that felt unusually warm and heavy, too.

He didn't know if it was a way to worship Kyuhyun like a hero who saved his life knee or if it was really just pure attraction that might as well go overboard sometimes, but Sungmin couldn't help it.

These feelings lasted until today, where a picture of Kyuhyun sleeping in the library had its place in his wallet, where he was using the same aftershave and where he rather spent his classes admiringly staring at said boy than paying attention to what the teacher said.

Friends asked why he wasn't making the first step; but Sungmin was the self-conscious kind of person, the kind that didn't like being looked at and who was always aiming to be someone better, not quite satisfied with what he had achieved in his past. Which was, to some extent, ridiculous because Lee Sungmin had achieved more in his 18 years of life than some other people would in 40 years of living, playing three instruments remarkably skillful, having friends that adored him (I mean, how else would they stick with such a lovestruck/-sick puppy?), being notably successful in academic matters and having countless people after him. He was gorgeous, after all. But no, being ambitious, always strike to be someone even greater than the day before, that was Lee Sungmin's way of thinking. One day, he would be worth being with Cho Kyuhyun. One day.

He sighed before he noticed the familiar piece of paper in front of him. Hyukjae nodded to him before turning back to his homework. His porn magazine had been confiscated. Sungmin giggled a bit before reading the note.

What are you talking about? I think that you should be the one to know if I had a chance.

The short boy rolled his eyes. So this guy wasn't about to stop annoying him any time soon. And what was he even talking about? It made no sense, not even a bit sense, in Sungmin's eyes. This fact was making him especially curious.

Huh? He wasn't exactly willing to give that damn man stealer a decent or even friendly answer, once again throwing the piece of paper with the three scribbled letters on Siwon's head. Even weirder was the fact that the victim of Sungmin's little tantrum yet was smiling at him in the creepiest kind of ways.

The reply he received was giving Sungmin a hard time not to totally lose control over his voice and body. His mind was loudly screaming 'What?!' before he dropped the note in shock.

Go out with me.

“He's insane! Insane! Got that? Just insane! How, h o w-”

“Calm down.”

“And, most important, why did he-”

“I SAID: CALM THE FUCK DOWN.” Hyukjae shook Sungmin's shoulders and pinched his cheek.

“Ouch! Hyukkie... it hurts.” Sungmin pouted and rubbed the spot his best friend had pinched him at.

“Are you listening to me now?”

“...Yes.”

“I've been watching this thing you had for Kyuhyun for quite a while already. And seriously, it's devastating. You won't even speak to him but still are obsessed, not even taking your eyes off his face for a mere second.” Hyukjae had to raised his hand constantly because Sungmin was seemingly trying to interrupt him, for reasons of defend Cho Kyuhyun's flawless reputation probably. “Just listen.”

Sungmin inhaled deeply before nervously stepping up with his foot. He nodded.

“Distract yourself.” He received questioning glare. “As in... try it with Siwon? I mean, he's gorgeous himself and seems to be a nice guy. On top of that, he wasn't totally turned off when you were being hostile to him in the beginning. He really seems to like you.”

“Are you actually even listening to yourself? I don't think so. You must have noticed the stupidity of your words otherwise.”

Hyukjae opened his mouth only to close it the next second again. He was thinking of what to say. Then he pinched Sungmin's cheek again.

“Just do it. It'll probably just last a few hours.”

“A few hours of not seeing Kyuhyun.”

“Sometimes I just want to slap you.”

“Oh, don't worry, that feeling is mutual. Right now, for example.”

“What if I... promise you an original USB-Stick that Kyuhyun used for his holy Macbook Pro, just a few days ago? If you go out with Siwon, only once?”

Sungmin's eyes began to sparkle as he scooted closer to Hyukjae, their faces merely one or two inches apart. “You own that one? The black-white striped one with the shiny metallic end?”

“Err. Yup, that one I own.”

“How did-”

“No questions. Just go out with Siwon.”

Sungmin didn't ponder for another second but nodded frantically, face flushed and eyes sparkling from excitement. “Well, I think a few hours of spending time with Siwon won't hurt if I get that as a price.” he smiled in content and walked away, a happy tiny jump in his steps.

Hyukjae congratulated himself for being an awesome friend. Now he just had to get his fingers on that USB-Stick he heard Sungmin rambling about, just a few days ago.

“Ne, Kyuhyun-sshi.” Hyukjae had his hands in his pockets, realizing how stupid his request might just sound to the other boy. Said boy looked up from his beloved PSP. Hyukjae wondered how his best friend would have fallen for this disdainful look, eyes a bit too close to each other and giving the manly face an almost mean look.

“What?” It sounded disapproving.

“I...errr. I... that- Uhm.”

“Get to the point. You are interrupting my game.”

Hyukjae decided that Cho Kyuhyun was one rude fellow. Why, why was Sungmin into him again?

“Well, I wanted to ask if you could give me that USB-Stick you had been using just a few days ago. I saw that it broke, so you won't need it anyway, right?” He dislikes you and you still dare to ask something like that? Seriously, Lee Hyukjae? He was expecting a deprecating chuckle, maybe even his eyes rolling in annoyance but to his own surprise, Kyuhyun's eyes turned into slits as he was staring at Hyukjae's nervous face, body leaning forward.

“Lee Hyukjae...” he whispered. Hyukjae took a step back, just to make sure that he would be out of range in case Kyuhyun decided to attack him. It seemed to be probable. “I know who you are.”
Well, that was unexpected. Hyukjae tilted his head and looked at Kyuhyun in an attempt of correctly interpreting these words. “Yes, Kyuhyun-sshi. Very nice. I am Lee Hyukjae.”

“I know.” Kyuhyun smiled spine-chillingly nice. Hyukjae resisted the urge of running away. That guy was creepy! “You'll get it. Here, take it. Hyukjae grabbed it after recovering from the shock of finally getting the USB-Stick from super-creepy Cho Kyuhyun.

“Thanks.” he whispered before going away as quickly as possible without it looking weird. Which was still the case.

Kyuhyun didn't resume his game but was staring at no specific point in front of him. Lee Hyukjae, best friend of Lee Sungmin... Lee Sungmin. Lee Sungmin., he murmured.

Hyukjae was standing behind a column, skeptically observing the unhealthy way Kyuhyun's eyes were widening while his breathing seemed to turn erratic and faster. This... was... scary.

Sungmin was one hour late. He knew, it wasn't nice but he wasn't that eager to go on a date with Siwon anyway. He secretly hoped that the latter might have given up, leaving the place they chose to meet at, a little, nice cafe. The only thing that finally made Sungmin come to the date was the thought of getting his fingers on this shiny, little USB-Stick that may even have Cho Kyuhyun's fingerprints on it. Maybe he had even been chewing on the end at some point, out of nervousness or any other reason. Which made Sungmin the soon-to-be owner of possible Kyuhyun saliva or Kyuhyun bite marks. What splendid thought to think of!

“You came!” Siwon flashed a smile, pearl-white teeth and a cute dimple showing as he did so. He stood up and Sungmin could see that he must have waited for a long time, since about four empty cups of coffee were standing on the table, right in front of where Siwon had been sitting. Sungmin began to feel something like guilt. Siwon seemed to have sincere feelings for him.

“Uh, yes. Sorry, I'm late. I had to help my mom and I don't have your phone number, so-”

“It's alright. What do you want to do?” Sungmin sighed when he sat down on the seat opposite to Siwon.

“I don't know, a coffee wouldn't be that bad.” I just got up half an hour ago after all.

“Plain black coffee?” Sungmin had to grin as he remembered that it was Kyuhyun's preferred way of drinking coffee.

“I'm more the Caramel Macchiato type.” Sungmin said, smiling in an attempt of making it up to Siwon for being late. The taller boy seemed to appreciate this.

“I thought so already, you're more the sweet type. It suits you.” Sungmin's smile grew brighter and he was close to chuckling. He had to admit that Siwon was a really sweet guy himself. “My treat.” said boy added. And his apologizing smile seemed to have its effect. And just before he began to think that going on a date with a generous Siwon wouldn't be all too bad, his eyes caught the sight of someone very special. Sungmin's eyes widened, blood rushing up his face and heart beating faster while his lips parted in a questioning Why. What was Kyuhyun doing on the table just behind Siwon? He felt as if he was about to faint, as the sight of the gorgeous man of his dreams was making him forget the most basic things of survival; breathing.

“Are you okay?” Siwon seemed to have notice the way Sungmin was staring somewhere behind him. He turned, too, only to see Kyuhyun taking a sip of his cup of black coffee, not paying the two people on the table next to his any attention at that very moment. “What is he doing here?” Sungmin didn't hear the slight irritation in Siwon's voice. He was very much occupied with staring at Kyuhyun, who was now opening a newspaper and reading it ever so handsomely. Yes, in Sungmin's eyes, Kyuhyun was reading that newspaper handsomely. “No idea.” Sungmin sighed, all the attention that had been turned to Siwon just a few moments ago now being reserved only for Kyuhyun. And it was understandable that Siwon wasn't exactly pleased with that turn of events. He wasn't used to being ignored, damn, god didn't give him that face and body for nothing!

“I thought about going to the movies, what do you think?” Sungmin didn't reply, head now tilting to the left as he saw Kyuhyun standing up to leave for the restroom and disappearing behind a corner. His face was showing clear signs of disappointment. “Sungmin?” Siwon carefully tapped Sungmin's shoulder. The shorter boy reacted by leaping half a meter away. “Did I startle you? Sorry.”

“I'm sorry. What did you say?”

“What about going to the Movies?” Siwon wasn't about to give up that soon.

“Uhm. Could we wait a few more minutes?” Sungmin lowered his head a tiny bit, making his eyes looking even bigger and more sparkling as he was now staring up to the other boy. Siwon, of course, couldn't resist. “Sure!” Sungmin was surprised that it actually worked.

Meanwhile, Hyukjae and Ryeowook were sitting in just another cafe on the other side of the city, pretty close to their school.

“Sungmin's going on a date with that Siwon guy today? Sounds good, that guy's really hot.” Ryeowook smiled happily as he heard the news. Hyukjae was in thoughts, playing with the metal USB-Stick in his hands. He had promised to give it to Sungmin right after his date ended. “What's that, Hyukjae?” Ryeowook snatched the little something in his friend's hand away. It turned out to be a plain, silver USB-Stick, the one end that one put into a device even broken. And were these bite marks on the other end?

“I promised Sungmin Kyuhyun's broken USB-Stick if he goes on that date with Siwon.” Hyukjae smiled to himself as he was still in thoughts. He was thinking, thinking about Kyuhyun's weird behavior. Why would a naturally mean person like Kyuhyun give him something of his property, even if it was broken and for no use anymore?

“Ah, good idea. Are you sure Sungmin's gonna behave?”

“No.”

“Shouldn't we be observing them then, or something?” Hyukjae remembered that Ryeowook was the kind of person who would really enjoy doing such a thing. But it didn't seem a bad idea to Hyukjae; this way, Sungmin wouldn't just spend these hours trying to scare Siwon off maybe.

“Fine, let's satisfy your inner stalker.” he sighed and Ryeowok gave him a light punch.

“I'm not the stalker here, okay?!”

Hyukjae just grinned and took out his phone. “I know where they are. It's that Cafe close to where Siwon lives.”

He and Ryeowook stood up and just when they arrived there, they saw Siwon and Sungmin leaving the Cafe. They wanted to follow when they saw someone else coming out of the Cafe right after; Cho Kyuhyun.

“Holy- What is he doing here?” Ryeowook's eyes widened as Hyukjae pulled him behind a column.

“Psssh. I have a weird feeling about this.” the taller boy whispered as he squinted at Kyuhyun. “Is he... following their cab in another cab?”

“Yes, genius. Don't you think we should follow them, too?” Ryeowook said, voice flat and dragging Hyukjae away from the column.

“What the heck is happening here?” Hyukjae's voice was close to sounding hysteric from confusion when they were finally sitting in a cab. Ryeowook shrugged. “No damn idea.”

“I mean- maybe it's a coincidence? He just wants to do whatever Siwon and Sungmin are up to right now, too.”

“Yes, this could be.” Ryeowook nodded. They arrived at a movie theater and saw the three people in question walking in, with Kyuhyun staying a bit behind. Hyukjae and Ryeowook followed the triple in. It didn't seem like Kyuhyun was trying to hide his presence as Sungmin was turning to him from time to time as they were standing in the line at the ticket counter, face flushing ever so adorably. Siwon didn't seem half as happy about the unwanted follower, face showing a sour expression as he was glaring at some innocent person in front of him. Kyuhyun wasn't acting all cool as he usually did, his face looked almost scary.

Hyukjae remember when he was watching Kyuhyun in the cafeteria. He hadn't been able to put his finger on what his face was looking like at that moment but now his brain didn't fail to come up with an adjective that could fittingly describe Kyuhyun's facial expression. He looked like a maniac. Or a lunatic. Very creepy, indeed.

“He's scaring me.” Ryeowook said from behind a column. Both of them didn't really want to be dubbed as stalkers, so hiding seemed like a good option. Hyukjae, standing next to him, nodded.

“I want to know what he's thinking.” He paused and looked at Kyuhyun balling his fists until his knuckles turned white. “Then again, maybe not.”

“Is he... crazy?” Ryeowook sounded like a very scared, little puppy.

“I don't even know what's going on!” Hyukjae was close to hyperventilating and screaming out loud because this was nothing his brain was able to process or to understand. The two of them then saw Sungmin and Siwon leaving for their movie and Kyuhyun following them.

“Are we going in, too?” Hyukjae nodded and was just about to go to the ticket desk, when his cell phone rang. He didn't really want to pick it up and neither did Ryeowook, as he could see at the latter's expression but he looked at the display and saw that it was Donghae calling. Donghae was a special case.

“Yes?”

“Hyukkie! Oh my god! You won't believe what I just- I mean- Oh my god! I mean, really!-”

“Holy crap, calm down! I don't understand a thing you're saying!”

“I'm in Kyuhyun's room now.” Donghae had inhaled deeply and had managed to regain his compositor. Hyukjae grinned as he had to think of what Sungmin would do for such an opportunity.

“Great, we're observing him now. Technically.”

“What? Why?”

“Because Ryeowook and I actually planned on observing Sungmin and Siwon but just how fate wanted it to happen, Kyuhyun is here, too.”

“I don't know if that's a good thing. And why is he even there?”

“To be honest, the two of us are pretty confused right now. Kyuhyun doesn't seem really happy and seriously, who the fuck goes to the cinema all alone?”

“Okay, listen. This is gonna be interesting. Probably changing our lives. And I don't know how I can be this calm. OH MY GOD!” Hyukjae had the impression that Donghae was close to having a mental breakdown.

“Are you okay?”

“NO. I AM NOT OKAY. I AM STANDING IN CHO KYUHYUN'S FUCKING ROOM AND HIS WALL IS PAPERED WITH PICTURE OF SUNGMIN.”

“WHAT?” Hyukjae earned looks from other people and Ryeowook, who was just about to buy the tickets for the movie, flinched and dropped his money. “WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?”

“THIS IS CRAZY. HIS MOM TOLD ME SHE HASN'T BEEN UP IN HIS ROOM FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS ALREADY AND SHE JUST SENT ME UP AND-”

“Okay, okay. Calm down. Tell me how you got there and- calm down first.” Hyukjae wasn't sure if he was telling Donghae to calm down or himself. Because this was crazy shit. Crazy shit was going on.

“Alright. I can do this. Me and Kyuhyun wanted to meet at his place for a school project so I came here. Turns out that he's not here but in the fucking cinema! Why even? Anyway, his mom told me to go up and wait for him here, saying something about Kyuhyun didn't tell her anything about a classmate coming over today. What a stupid guy. He said Sunday, here I am, and the guy's stalking Sungmin on a date. AND NOW I SEE THE WALL. AND IS THAT THE PAIR OF SHOES SUNGMIN COULDN'T FIND LAST MONTH? OH MY-”

“First of all, it's Saturday today. And second. WHAT? YOU MUST BE KIDDING ME. THIS CAN'T BE-” Ryeowook had received a message on his phone and was suddenly hitting Hyukjae's arm. “Hold on, Ryeowook's punching me.” Hyukjae turned to Ryeowook. “What? This is important!”

“Not half as important as what I just received!” People were starting to consider Ryeowook and Hyukjae as two very insane individuals but neither of them really cared because Donghae had sent Ryeowook a picture of Kyuhyun's room. And it was crazy shit that was going on. He hadn't exaggerated, there were all kinds of pictures, and not even just a few, of Sungmin on the wall, pictures of him talking, smiling, most of the times even unknown to him. Wait, was that picture of him changing in the lockers room? “What-”

“I TOLD YOU! THIS IS CRAZY! CRAZY!” Donghae's voice on the phone was loud, and he was not even put on speaker. “And today's really Saturday?”

It was a coincidence. Kyuhyun just came back to the camp because he had forgotten his jacket and it was getting pretty chilly in the woods. He would never have imagined finding Sungmin sitting there, on the dirty ground, with a several injury on his knee. If he hadn't known it better, he would have actually thought that his leg was going to fall of. No, it didn't look pretty. But what really caught Kyuhyun's attention was the way Sungmin looked. He was in utter shock, eyes widened as he stared at his wound in a scary kind of fascination, perfect teeth biting the rosy, lower lip and Kyuhyun couldn't help himself but think that this boy was beautiful. More beautiful than anyone he had ever seen; he hadn't paid any attention to his classmates by then but now that he looked at Sungmin, only the word gorgeous came to his mind. And this gorgeous boy was hurt. He had to help him. Kyuhyun didn't know why, but his usual, natural sinisterness was like blown away. It wasn't only because Sungmin seemed so very vulnerable at that moment, no, there was something else that prevented him from being mean.

Kyuhyun wasn't sure if it was necessary, but he lifted Sungmin up anyway, carrying him in bridal style to the camp. He was almost tripping over all kinds of woods and whatnot on the ground; his eyes were way too occupied staring at Sungmin's face that was still in shock, staring at the major wound on his knee. But he wanted Sungmin to look at him with these damn eyes and the only thing his brain could think of was to say: “I know how to treat such a wound.” Kyuhyun didn't know if letting out his nerdiness about first aid at that point of the story was a good idea or not, but he couldn't think of anything else to say. Sungmin really turned to him and- holy shit these eyes. Kyuhyun was sure that he was blushing but Sungmin didn't seem to notice anything in his condition. He just seemed to be glad to have someone to take care of him, now, that his knee was wounded. Kyuhyun was in a daze-like state. He began to murmur words that he didn't know the meaning of afterwards and just hoped that he didn't sound as incoherent as he actually had been. But Sungmin was comforted by these words and Kyuhyun smiled to himself, thinking that that was all that mattered while laying the shorter boy down to the ground.

While treating the dirty and very bloody wound, the tall, lean boy couldn't help but notice how incredibly white and soft Sungmin's skin on his legs were. He wondered if Sungmin shaved.

And that was how Cho Kyuhyun's not so small obsession began.

And here he was, after keeping himself in the background for one whole year, sitting in the cinema and stalking Lee Sungmin on a date with the school's hottie Choi Siwon. He wouldn't have thought that Siwon was being serious when he was talking about Sungmin staring at him (which was actually the reason for him to be shocked because there was no way that Lee Sungmin was even sparing him a little glance) but if there was one thing he didn't want, then it was seeing Sungmin in someone else's arms. Over his dead body, that is. He was even willing to humiliate himself to no end and indeed, he was observing Sungmin during his date with Siwon and already earned weird glances from his crush. It already started when he was in the Cafe and hell, he had a hard time holding himself back and not to stab Siwon right then and there. And now he even followed the pair into the move theater.

Sitting there, right in front of, the very admirable back of Sungmin's head and the not-so-lovely back of Siwon's head that Kyuhyun wanted to throw his popcorn at. Not that he actually planned on enjoying the movie, but going into a movie without popcorn was a no-go. He squinted at Siwon's perfectly styled hair and deemed the other guy as lucky; Siwon hasn't tried to touch Sungmin even once. And what had also caught Kyuhyun's attention was the way Sungmin was looking around as if he was looking for someone. It was notable and kind of weird, too, seeing how the short man wasn't even concentrating on the movie.

And... wait, was that Hyukjae and Ryeowook from his culinary class, that he was always failing so miserably, coming into the cinema hall? What was going on here? That couldn't be a coincidence, right? Kyuhyun frowned as he saw them sitting down next to Sungmin, trying their best not to draw any attention to them , especially not from Siwon. Sungmin, who had been looking around the whole time anyway, spotted them immediately.

And that was when... Siwon stretched his body, acting as if it was all stiff from sitting so long, and put his arm around Sungmin's shoulder. Sungmin squeaked nervously, Ryeowook and Hyukjae palmed their faces and Kyuhyun stood up immediately, climbing over the seat in front of him (fortunately, no one was sitting there) and slapping Siwon's arm away. He had the feeling that everyone in the hall was glaring at him which was only partly correct, it was just disturbing for some people to see someone standing right in the picture and blocking their view.

Sungmin turned around and Kyuhyun was sure that he was just imagining things in the dimmed light that came from the big screen but it seemed to him like his love was blushing and how adorable would that look, seeing how his eyes were widened in shock. Kyuhyun soon realized what he had done and felt like drowning himself in the next lake. Damn, there was no lake.

“Kyuhyun?” Sungmin whispered, not hearing how Siwon next to him hissed at the unwanted interruption. Hyukjae and Ryeowook looked at each other before nodding and slowly backing away.

“What are you doing here?” Siwon asked with a frown that was supposed to tell Kyuhyun off, telling him that he was unwanted at that very moment.

“I-” Kyuhyun then noticed that his brain didn't think of anything to say before slapping away Siwon's arm. “I'm sorry?”

“Don't be!” Sungmin blurped out and immediately covered his mouth, looking from Siwon and Kyuhyun in anxiety.

Kyuhyun gawked at the gorgeous man in front of him and before he could realize what he was even thinking, his body had already moved, hand reaching forward, behind Sungmin's head and pulling him for a lip-lock. Kyuhyun felt Sungmin's lips against his, stiff and motionless because of the shock and he already regretted doing whatever his body made him do. His grip on Sungmin's soft hair loosened and he was about to pull away when he felt something gripping his shirt, keeping him in place. Stiff lips parted and a wet, tiny tip was trying to invade his mouth and Kyuhyun gladly granted access. He was sure that it was a dream, his body being on fire while his mind was spinning to an extent of which he thought it would make him faint very soon while there were lips, Sungmin's lips on his own and making him going out of mind. It was perfect and Kyuhyun didn't know what would have happened if Siwon hadn't cleared his throat to make them notice that people weren't exactly pleased with the interruption of the movie by a couple standing and kissing right in front of the screen. Kyuhyun and Sungmin blushed before leaving the hall. Both of them couldn't even begin to describe how it felt to hold that certain other's person's that tightly, even though the grip was tight and sweaty.

Kyuhyun couldn't believe that it was really true, Lee Sungmin had kissed him back. But he decided to just live this dream as long as it lasted, that were his thoughts while he looked into Sungmin's eyes with a grin that was most probably ridiculous looking. Sungmin suddenly hugged him and was pulling on his shirt, burying his face in Kyuhyun's chest and deeply inhaling.

“You're real, aren't you? I had this dream before. It was devastating when I woke up.” he whispered before inhaling another time. Kyuhyun smiled before burying his nose in soft, black hair that smelled so sweetly like vanilla and stroking it.

“I hope I'm really here, yes. I want this to be real, too.”

They totally forgot about Siwon who had to listen to the hectic and incredibly joyful explanation by Hyukjae and Ryeowook of the situation they have kinda waited for for a whole year.

A/N: 1. I think I'm returning to my hiatus though. Not sure.
2. I don't know why I'm always making Hyukjae such a perfect best friend.
3. I've tried it with the image of a perfect Cho Kyuhyun this time (at least in Sungmin's POV). It was very, very hard.
4. My A/N's getting pretty long this time, you don't have to read it.
5. Blame Naruto for being such a wonderful anime. My free time consists of SasuNaru instead of KyuMin now... /sighs
6. And maybe because I find a lot of really good fanfiction in the SasuNaru fandom.
7. /rambling
8. I love you all?
9. Oh right, I'm in my Senior's year now. Wow, I've been in this fandom (more or less) for whopping 3 years now. However, German school system wants me to study my ass off for the final exams (one of them is on my 18th birthday too, yay!) and they want me to know everything about everything I've ever learned in 12 fucking years.
10. Pwahaha, I'll quit whining, alrights. But follow me on twitter and cheer me up when I'm close to giving up my studies again ~ @mfreak101 (not @kyumin86eunhae until I'm ultimately back from my hiatus) and jailed @kyuminkinksyay ~
11. No, I don't know why columns have a bunch of cameos in this. But look at it like that: Characters need places to hide. :)
12. And... what was this fic? OTL

pairing: kyumin, fanfic: oneshot, genre: fluff, rating: pg-13, genre: romance, band: super junior
