Chapter 2: not exactly….dis was b4 the first one
This is dedicated for those who wanted a chap 2…
I want to say sorry to BoA fans… pls. forgive me… I was just ordered to add her but I can’t think of other means of letting her be one of my characters…you’ll understand once you read this chap
(TITLE)
~POV Jae Rin~
I was late… I gathered my books and head for the door…not having enough time I carried my books with my bare hands and left hurriedly for school…
It was really hard juggling my books while running…so I guess it wouldn’t be unusual for me to drop all my book, but this was no time for such things, I was panicking knowing that I would be late if I didn’t pick my books up quickly…
Then an unknown hand swooped in and helped me with my books…it handed me over my books, connected to this hand was a godly creature that saw right through me… it smiled at me…making me melt …but no I needed to hurry…
At the gate he was there again, standing signaling me to hurry…I read his lips, he said “Come on, faster your gonna be late!” I was just in time… the gate closed at my back
“Phew, good thing you made it” it spoke to me making shivers run down my spines…
“Yeah… thanks to you” I replied trying to keep myself from melting in my shoes…
“Haha no prob! byeiii” it waved goodbye…
“How could someone as perfect as that exist… not only that he even goes to my school” these thoughts bothered me the whole day…
Next Day
“Hey” I heard someone shout…but quickly ignored it…
“Heeeyyy…..Heyyy!!!” the voice neared and got louder…I turned to see who the irritatingly noisy person is… it was the godly creature from yesterday…waving his hand and running towards me…
“Do you still remember me?” he asked
Who would forget a person like him…I stood there silent with not a single word comes to mind….
“Hey! I didn’t get the chance to introduce myself yesterday” he said flashing a deadly smile…”I’m Lee Dong Hae, nice to meet you” his cheery face greeted me…”Oh…I’m Park Jae Rin…” I bowed making a complete fool of myself “No need to be so formal hehe!...” he said making me blush. He stared at my face for a while, and smiled…
Then a girl that was tall, pretty, and all the qualities a girl wanted to have arrived, wrapping her arm around Dong Hae’s. “Hi” speaking to Dong Hae… “And who’s this?” she asked while staring me bottom to top… “Ow… she’s my new friend Park Jae Rin…” he was like a knight in shinning armor… “ Ahh…Hi, nice to meet you I’m Dong Hae’s girlfriend, BoA” those words crushed me… “Nice to meet you, excuse me but I need to go now” I stormed of depressed and eyes a little teary.
“Well I guess a guy like him would have a girlfriend that would be as perfect as her” I thought to myself trying to forget what just happened… “I made such a big fool of myself, focus Jae you don’t need them…” I said to myself.
A hand grabbed my arm…stopping me from running….
“Why did you run away?... I had to chase you… did you know how hard it was?” it asked me, catching his breath.
“Well I wanted you and your girlfriend to have some time alone” I said hiding the bitterness of my voice…
Tears started to fill my eyes… I couldn’t help it…
“Ow …I’m sorry” he left without uttering another word, I was alone again.
I stepped outside, it started raining, it’s like the weather knew how bad I felt so it poured harder, I sat on the bench, while the rain hides my tears…
After several tears
Someone’s hand covered my eyes…
“What the hell are you doing out in the rain???” a familiar voice asked
I shook my head; he still kept his hands over my face.
“Do you believe in love at first sight, cuz I sure don’t” he whispered to my ear, leaving me confused. “But I think that was before I met you”
He tilted my head, I felt his lips on mine leaving me breathless…
Still in shock he let go of me… the sun prevented me from seeing his face, but he flashed a smile that I could never forget who it belonged to, it was him, cheering me up from all my sadness, but wait…
“What about your girlfriend, BoA?” I asked in agony…
“Well she isn’t my real girlfriend, she’s my best friend, she said that because she doesn’t want me being close to other girls… but I told her I really liked you, so she willingly allowed me to, well you know…”
“You really like me?” I asked in amazement to what he just said, forgetting all the rest of his speech.
“Ofcourse, why would I do something like that for a person that I didn’t lo--l-like…” he said a little embarrassed. “I really like you too” and lightly kissed his cheek…
At the Assembly
“Dong Hae… Dong Hae, sit next to me” I called out to him
I was sitting with my best friend Sunhi. “Hey, Jaerin I’ve got something to tell you…”
“Hey guys! What’s up?” Dong Hae interrupted, and was with his friend, Heechul. “Never mind” She stopped what she was about to say and crossed her arms in disappointment…
“Ummm…I have a favor to ask you” “What is it?” he playfully asked me…
“Well see that girl out there” “Yah, I heard she was called the heartbreaker”
“Well yah she’s my friend” “Oh sorry” he smiled… I was lost but quickly recovered
“And your friends with the Cho Kyu Hyun guy right?” “Yeah”
“You see she’s been crushing on him for a while so why don’t we play cupid for a while” I said mischievously “Did someone say cupid I’m in?” Heechul butted in.
“Me too, me too!” Sunhi replied excited…
~POV Dong Hae~
After the Assembly
“Hey” I said grabbing her hand before she leaves with her friends.
“Why don’t we go on a group date, that would help them become friends easily, plus I can spend more time with you…” I said hopping she would say yes. “Sure! I would love that” she replied “YES!!!” I thought to myself. And waved goodbye.
“Sooo…Kyu Hyun who was that girl you were with” I teased him, accomplishing my job as cupid. “She’s just a girl I met”… “Really? Well she was pretty cute why don’t you ask her out” Heechul helped me out. “Stop it you guys, we just met” he responded defensively. “Whatever you say” giving a sly look at Kyu Hyun.
A Few Days Later
“Hey, BoA I’m going on a date with Jaerin tomorrow” I told my best friend
“Why do you even like her that much?” she asked offensively
“Well there’s just something about her that I don’t see in other girls” I said protecting the love of my life… She rolled her eyes and left…
“These past few days, BoA has been acting really strange around me whenever I talk about Jaerin” I thought to myself wondering why…
Aquarium part of the Date
I left Jaerin for a while to get some snacks and drinks. To my amazement, BoA was talking to her, I sneaked behind a post to listen to what their talking about…
“Who do you think you are?”
“All these years I’ve been his best friend waiting for him to ask me out, but no you had to ruin everything for me didn’t you?”
“What just because Dong Hae likes you, you could be all high and mighty over me”
“Don’t you know he’s just playing with you, he never really liked you…as if?”
“Don’t ever come near him again you got it?”
Tears formed in my Jaerin’s eyes…
“BoA!” I screamed… frustrated of what she just did.
“Oh…hey Dong Hae, Jaerin and I were just starting to become friends…”
“Stop lying to me!” I interrupted her. And hugged Jaerin with all my might, to stop her tears from falling.
“How dare you lie to my girlfriend, I will never forgive you for what you did…consider our friendship over…” I firmly said to her, and assured Jaerin that I would always be by her side. BoA left, tears in her eyes.
“Are you alright?” I quickly asked Jaerin. More tears fell from her eyes. “Stop crying, it hurts to see you like this”
“You didn’t have to do that” I wiped the tears off her eyes
“Yes I did…”
“Why?”
“Nobody can treat you like that, you are my everything seeing you cry, is like a dagger that pierced my heart”
I couldn’t help myself, so I kissed her and whispered “I love you…”
