TITLE
~POV Kyu Hyun~
I was sitting near the window… it was raining outside…class was really boring so I didn’t pay any attention to the teacher.
Then outside I saw a girl few years younger than me, she had long hair, big cute eyes and was very attractive. She held a note in her hand…she started to look around, then I saw a guy coming near her, holding roses, chocolates, ”I love you” balloons the works…I thought that they would be a happy couple…but then I saw the girl return the note and turned around, the guy fell on he’s knees. He dropped all that he held and the balloons flew up high.
After what I saw I was sure that I wouldn’t want to fall in love.
During Lunch
“Hey guys, did you hear, Lee Rei Jin, rejected another admirer this morning” said a guy in the line…”Waaahhh, that’s the 3rd one since the start of school” said another “Maybe that’s why she was called the “heartbreaker””. I was curious who Lee Rei Jin was…but I don’t think I wanna meet her…So I continued eating my lunch, after a few spoonfuls I saw a girl staring at me, the same one from this morning. But when my eyes met hers, she quickly turned her attention back to her friends.
At a School Assembly
I saw a bunch of noisy girls calling out to this girl…it looked like there was no more seats left that was next to their’s, so the girl was left alone…she walked to the row where I was sitting and sat on the vacant seat next to me.
She introduced herself…”Hi, I’m Lee Rei Jin, I hope we can be friends she said as she held out her hand, I shook her hand and replied “Ahhh…. I’m Cho Kyu Hyun” and that was the end of that.
A Few days after
I soon bump into her a few times in the campus, but all I did was exchange glances and smiles with her. Soon I started to feel like I wanted to see her more, like my day is not over until I see her smile, people were right she really is pretty, but I still hesitate whenever I remember that she was called the “heartbreaker”.
When I went home late I bumped into her. She shyly waved at me…I waved back. As I was leaving…”Cho Kyu Hyun” she called out my name…I turned…
“I really like you” She shouted again…I was really shocked… the only word that uttered my mouth was “What?” while holding my hand near my ear pretending that I didn’t hear… She just blushed and walked away.
Her voice was ringing in my mind “I really like you” those words repeated in my mind again and again….
I am a guy who is afraid of rejection, so I never show my emotions to others. I didn’t realize it, but I think I feel the same way…I smiled to myself.
~POV Rei-jin~
I finally told Kyu Hyun what I really feel about him… but I think he didn’t hear…”oh well” I said to myself.
Next Day
While I was alone walking in the corridor, I heard an angelic voice call out my name…I looked around no one was there… “Rei Jin” it called to me again…”Hehheehhe” it laughed teasingly as I looked around….(really I was scared) I was wearing P.E. and had my hair braided…so I was prepared to run if it was a stalker or worse a ghost (gulps)…
“Hi!” he shouted… I was shocked from his voice and presence, and jumped a little…
“I like your braids” he complemented…(still in shock)
“Th- th- thanks, h-hyung”I stammered a little from the shock and embarrassment…He grinned…
“Were you scared” he asked politely… “a little” I responded…he pouts….
He then held my braid and leaned closer…I froze up…
My braid neared his face…he held it above his lips…O__o
“I’ve always dreamed of having a mustache…so this was how it feels like…Haha! He said teasing me…”Awww” thinking to myself…
”I hate you hyung…stop teasing me” I said while blushing a light rose pink…and we waved goodbye. Those words made my whole day…
Next Day
So how did you meet your boyfriends?” I asked my trusted friends.
Jae Rin said “Me and Dong Hae just instantly got attracted to each other, we were made to be, I you know what I mean …” “Well I on the other hand, had a really hard time trying to catch Heechul, but I tried extra hard to maintain a cute image, and eventually he fell for me haha…” my other friend, Sunhi said triumphantly…Then they appeared…like they knew that we were jus talking about them…they even brought Kyu Hyun along…”Aaaahhhhh”my brain screamed…
“Hey do you guys wanna go on a group date” Heechul asked invitingly “Sure!” said the perfect couple in chorus (DxJ) “But we’ll need to find a date for Kyu and Rei” Sunhi asked
“Umm…What if you two go together” teased Heechul
“If it’s okay with her…” he replied, while looking at me sincerely …
“Yah sure” I said while looking down avoiding his captivating gaze…
Date Day
We shopped for almost half the day…but to be honest we didn’t do much of the shopping…we were like zombies following Lord Heechul around every store he liked…so I guess that’s not what you call shopping in a regular basis…
The other couples were starting to act intimate and cute…while Kyu and I were very awkward
I insisted on eating at this place where my friend works…
“Rei-jinshhii” he called my name
~POV Narrator~
He gave her a light hug…Kyu’s eyes widened…
As they were eating the other two couples were feeding each other and sharing the same drinks, while they stayed awkward and kinda avoided each other’s eye contact ;(
Then they started ordering dessert…Jae and Hae ordered a slice of strawberry cake…Sunhi and Heechul would share blueberry cheesecake….Rei-jin ordered a chocolate mousse like cake…while Kyu Hyun ordered a shake with cream on top…
As Rei-jin was eating, she noticed Kyu staring at her cake…
As her habit, she took a slice and gestured to feed Kyu the slice…
The other couples stared at them, but I guess they didn’t notice…
Kyu smiled…and took the bite teasingly by letting the fork stay in his mouth for a while…
He also offered his drink. She happily drank it. Then a trace of foam trailed her lips.
“You look stupid” He whispered near her ear, she blushed like a red tomato.
Then he wiped off the foam on her face. At the edge of her lips little foam was left…he leaned closer and slowly licked foam off the edge of her lips... that made her as red as a siren of a fire truck.
The waiter, one of Rei-jin’s best friends, came near them. He whispered to Rei-jin’s ear “Introduce me to your man friends”, which made her chuckle a little. When Kyu Hyun saw what just happened his eyes burned up, and his cheery face was replaced with a irritated look…which made Rei-jin a little worried…” hey guys, this is my best friend Tae Jo Hua”…the mention of best friend made Kyu Hyun twitch a little…The girls already know “him”, but the guys didn’t had a clue. ”Sit with us Jo Hua” Jae Rin offered a sit between all of them. All the guys started to have the same thoughts of this Jo Hua guy…”I’m gonna beat this guy up” …
But Jo Hua couldn’t resist showing his true identity…he started touching the guys hands, followed by flirtatious laughter…knowing what he was doing the girls quickly warned him “ hey Jo, if you wanted a guy so badly why don’t you find yourself a boyfriend, don’t try and steal ours owkey?” all the guys mouths dropped…but they started laughing “whatever you guys… dating is not my scene owkey?” He replied to the insult… Kyu Hyun chuckled at himself…feeling silly and relived at the same time.
Night time fell and stars filled the sky…
They all decided to split up to be together with their other half…Jae and Hae went to the aquarium, cause Jae couldn’t resists Hae’s puppy dog eyes. Heechul wanted to continue shopping, Sunhi willingly went along. Kyu decided to take Rei-jin to the park. They sat on a little hill, in full view of the moon…
“Wow…the moon looks so full tonight” Rei-jin said while staring at the moon.
“I love the moon it looks so peaceful and happy with all the stars surrounding it” He replied also watching the night sky.
He started singing this song *Smile*…
“I don’t usually do this for anyone, but I really want to express my feelings to her” Kyu Hyun thought to himself …the girl finally heard his deep captivating voice that is just for her to hear…
He felt her head lean on his shoulder…she fell asleep…seeing his angel sleep so peacefully he let her lay on his lap…as he watched over her, his body willingly moved closer, soon their faces were close to each other…as he leaned closer he lightly brushed his lips against hers…
Her eyes opened wide, shocked of what just happened.
She sat straight up and asked “Do you like me?”. He paused to collect himself.
He leaned forward, close to her ear and whispered “I think…errrmmmm…I think I love you”. She froze up not knowing what to do…she stared deeply in his eyes that were filled with sincerity…the wind blew her hair, he held it back not wanting to interrupt this moment…she then wrapped her arms around his neck and without hesitation she placed a warm soft kiss on his lips. He held her face near his chest, hearing the intense pounding of his heart…it was like a lullabye to her. With a hug so tight that made sure that this would be one of those unforgettable moments. He left a light kiss on her forehead…while the warmness that surrounded them under the twinkling stars that would last an eternity…
