2005 was not my favorite year, but it was a passable year. I went from working at Time Inc. to collecting unemployment to getting paid fairly well to be an anti-death penalty advocate. My travels were limited to mostly the north east this year, with a notable excursion to Austin for a conference. I got engaged, which should be a bigger deal, but really, it was more of an inevitability than a spur of the moment thing, so I'll wait until the wedding to freak out about the whole thing.
Which brings me to my next point. I get married this year. Woah. That's gonna be crazy. Anyhow, I'm thinking this is going to be a good year. Bring on '06!
