elisem is having a
prototype auction at the moment. Some very nifty stuff in there, including one necklace that I have always loved. Must go consult finances to see if I can afford to bid on it.
And speaking of Elise, I got
Thunder Baby and
Great-Grandmother's Knowledge in the mail yesterday. I snagged them a few weeks back in celebration of having sold
the most complicated necklace I've ever made.
Thunder Baby is even niftier in person than in the photos, and I am full of squee at finally getting an Elisian sculptural piece. The hairtoy is utterly gorgeous, and I am doing a bit of beta-testing for her, seeing how it works on dreadlocks with various types of attaching-hardware.
We saw Vienna Teng again last night. Fantastic show. She had a beautiful grand piano and her trio -- cellist, violinist, and a truly remarkable percussionist -- and it was every bit as brilliant as the show we caught back in Cambridge last summer.
