Now here we are again. Looking down the same road. Different time & circumstance, yet everything so painfully familiar. I fear more, though; the stakes are higher. We can only hope and pray that this one turns out the same way that the first one did - that is the best case scenario. That had been painful enough, though we were luckier than some, and anything less seems unthinkably heartbreaking at the moment. And I am terrified that we will be put to that test. The possibilities are real enough without putting them in words and facing them in black and white. So our only recourse is to pray, and wait, and hope that God's mercy will prevail in this, and help us face what lies ahead.
