Quick update!
So I went to Moncton to try on my dress last Thursday! YAY! I tried it on and apparently the 15 lbs i've lost thus far made a huge difference! When I tried the dress on in Nov. it was about 6 inches from closing and now it's about 2inches!And the guy said it has about 6 inches in the seams that can be let out! So I paid 1/2 of it and 1/2 of my beautiful veil that matches the dress perfectly! The guy also said that had they been able to order the dress in the original size that there is no way it would have fit, and it would have been almost impossible to make it fit in the bust-ish area b/c it would have been way too big! yay!
Birthday was really just another day aside from the million birthday wishes on Facebook :) I worked in the am and then again at the gym that night then watched biggest loser and finished my b-day cake from the fam. on the weekend. But mom and daddy gave me $50 towards my level 1 Reiki class I want to take and my sister said she's going to give me some towards it when they get paid :) so yay! that's about 1/2 the cash I need to take it and Kris said he'd cover the rest. I'm very excited about it. I've been wanting to do it for a while but felt I wasn't taking proper care of myself and felt I was not in a good personal place to attempt Reiki, so i'm very excited to take the class. My brother got me the 25th anniv. CareBear which is also totally exciting!!
Speaking of my brother, he arrived via plane in Freddy at 11:00, without his luggage for the 5th time, Air Canada sucks! And they were going to the mall to try to pick up Guitar Hero for my sister (alas, they were yet again sold out) and then were washing "Tina", his Dodge Charger, then coming here. Well it's almost 5 and they have yet to arrive. I'm hosting a potluck for a girl at work here at 7, so it'd be nice to see him before everyone arrives!
I went into the spare room to change Wembley's (the hedgehog) cage and noticed she hasn't touched her food or water for a couple days :( I picked her up and she was cold to the touch and not very responsive at all, she would hardly open her eyes. I went and put some wet catfood in a small jar of water and mixed it up with some honey and gave her some in a syringe. But when I was giving her the mixture I felt warmth on my arm and she was bleeding out of her bum :( :( She took 9 cc's of the mixture and I put her in her travel crate. About 1/2 hour later I took her out to put the hot water bottle in and she was a lot more responsive and no longer bleeding. I called the emergency vet but noooooo , the only vet in fucking Fredericton that knows anything about hedgehogs is not the one on call. Basically, she said to do what I was doing and to hope she didn't die before Monday!
