I got home, and the only reception I got was a random group invite in WoW from one of my friends. Didn't even say hello, just sent a random group invite. What did she want? For me to look at her stupid broom she found on an alt. Whoopty-doo, you have a one-use item. Grats. And she couldn't just -tell- me she found them, she wanted me to come -look- at it so I could go 'Neat' and run off to the mailbox to get my stuff.
I didn't get any hellos. Nobody asked me how the game went, or even where I was all weekend if I hadn't told them I was larping. Just 'Come here and look at my stupid broom.'
Hi. Nice to see you again. How'd your weekend go? Did I miss anything fun? Didja raid or get neat stuff? Is Narc still an asshat?
(Well, okay, that last question is so redundant it doesn't need an answer.)
Granted, there are a few folk who just haven't been online since I got back (either in WoW or on IMey things, so they're forgiven) but for fuck's sake, is it so hard to ask how my weekend went before diving into pointless frivolity?
Before you feel obligated to ask, don't. I'll post it on LJ eventually; right now I need to go sit on the couch and put my feet up.
(Remember folks, comments off means shut the hell up!)
what was i thinking?,
this is bullshit,
