Finally got my AC and my dresser in! My room is finally a pleasant place again! Everything is so neat and tidy!

My new roomie is finally moved in too, so the house isn't such a disaster either, which is good.
Also had a very nice, very happy America Fuck Yeah Day, if I do say so myself! Went straight from work to join roomie on the sound. She staked us out a great spot. Sunny, right near everything, surrounded by water. Then it was nothing but snoozing in the sun, eating yummy things, and a steady trickle of arriving friends for the rest of the day. Probably the most time I've spent outside in a while! It was nice to be so part of the community. Almost everyone around us was really nice. Floating on the national pride I guess.
The fireworks were very pretty too. One of the plus sides to living in the Boston area is that we take our 4th of July celebrations very srsly, lol. It was a perfect day with a just breathtaking sunset. I had a lot of fun.
Spent today painting my nails and watching/fangirling Supernatural with my friend who spent the night. It was great. I now have rainbow toes! For the first time in a while I'm feeling well and truly relaxed; like, I don't have bones-mushy kind of relaxed. I only hope the rest of the summer goes as well as this weekend has! *crosses fingers/rainbow toes*
