I don't want a repeat of today.
After a long day of being the only cashier (having to ask for back-up several times for each crowd), I made a boo-boo making change. (The customer agreed that we were talking and we both forgot if she gave me $2 0r $20.) The drawer had to be counted, which took over 20 minutes. I am so grateful for the patience of the customer. I just wonder what was written in my file.
A couple weeks ago, I put in a transfer request for the new JA opening near Westland Shopping Center. Then Stacy got demoted from front-end supervisor. I would like that position, but find out today that that position is no more at 1095. pphhttpp. I've also been reconsidering the transfer and thinking of telling them I want to stay where I am. My brain hurts.
By the end of the day, my feet and legs hurt so bad I had trouble walking to the breakroom to get my stuff and out to my car. The Dr. Scholl's arch supports don't work, I'm thinking. Or maybe I need a different kind of shoe.
Home, Change shirt. Grab notebook and off to Anime Meetup. Grace not there. Typical. Ticket drawing for anime goodies. There go the 'Ranma 1/2' dvds. The pile of 'Full Metal Alchemist' dvd's. Oops, no "Gantz" books for me. No 'Bo-bo-bo-bo-bo' dvd either. Second to last ticket called - I got an 'Appleseed' dvd. Well, it's unopened. I guess that's good. Or maybe not........ The Clam Chowder was typical, and the salad was good. It had prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella, strawberries and cantaloupe in it. So, the event didn't totally suck.
Home. Watched "Torchwood: Miracle Day." Very good. I'm anxious for next week! It's nice to see Captain Hack Harkness again. B-)
I miss my friends. I've had to work the last two Thursday nights, and I work tomorrow night so I won't make it to Boulder Sketch Night. Unhappy Badger.
2 glasses of Barefoot Ale and a bag of Garden Salsa SunChips. Bed soon. Goodnite.
