“Truth or dare, Hummel?”
Kurt snorted as he looked at Puck. “No way am I letting you give me a dare,” he said. “Truth.”
Puck looked at Kurt thoughtfully for a moment before shrugging. “Have you ever been sexually attracted to a girl?” he asked finally.
Amusement tugged at the corners of Kurt’s mouth and he took a sip of his drink before answering. “I thought I was once,” he replied.
“What do you mean, you thought you were?” Puck asked. “You either are or you aren’t.”
“I meant what I said,” Kurt said. “I thought I was.”
“Was it that thing with Brittany?” Finn asked, looking curious.
Kurt shook his head. “No. No one we know,” he said.
“Then who?” Mercedes asked.
“It was a music video I saw,” Kurt started, only to be cut off by Puck.
“Was it Beyonce?”
Kurt glared at the older boy. “No. And if you interrupt again, I won’t tell you. I already answered my question, I don’t have to tell you when or who.”
“Shut up, Puckerman,” Santana snapped. “I wanna know what girl managed to get capital-G-Gay Kurt’s motor running.”
Puck held his hands up in surrender and everyone looked at Kurt expectantly.
“It was a video for a song called Automatic by a band called Tokio Hotel,” Kurt said and from the looks on everyone’s faces he could tell that none of them had ever heard of the band or the song. He shrugged. “The singer is hot. Instant crush.”
“Having a crush isn’t the same as being sexually attracted to them,” Puck said.
“Wanting in their pants is, though,” Kurt retorted.
“And you wanted in the singer’s pants?” Santana asked.
Kurt nodded.
“How does that mean that you thought you were sexually attracted to a girl?” Puck asked. “Sounds to me like you definitely were.”
Kurt shrugged again, a smirk tugging at his lips. “Yeah, well, turns out that just because you’re all kinds of pretty, doesn’t mean you’re a girl,” Kurt said, pausing slightly for effect. “The lead singer of Tokio Hotel is a very beautiful boy named Bill Kaulitz.”
“Dude…you thought a guy was a girl?” Puck asked skeptically.
Kurt nodded. “He has effeminate features and is very pretty,” Kurt replied. “You’d probably even think he’s hot, Puckerman. Granted, you’d freak out when you realized he was a guy, but still…” Kurt paused for a moment and looked at the others. “Oh, and you know what the best part is?” he asked.
“What?” Quinn asked curiously.
Kurt grinned widely. “Two words. Identical. Twins. The guitarist in the band is his identical twin brother.”
The rest of the Gleeks simply stared at him for a moment and Kurt laughed before turning to look at Brittany.
