Last night, Kyle, Michael E, and I drove to Winston-Salem to meet up with capriciousbee and her roommate Megan to see Nonpoint play at Ziggy's. We were a bit late, mainly because I told Michael the wrong time to meet up, but that was no big deal because there were supposed to be 3 opening bands. Last Friday (the 15th), I didn't have anything planned, and Lisa convinced me to go to the sixth annual Fire Arts Festival in west Oakland. The Bart train there was elevated and beside the outdoor arena, and on arrival we could already see pillars of flame reaching for the sky. This was going to be awesome, I could already tell. ;-)

Saturday, July 8th, mrsmalkav and I saw Nine Inch Nails play in the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View. The night before was my Rogue adventure (the wandering-Oakland-all-night-long one), so I slept in pretty late.
