Vacation Posty - Day 5 - Toronto exploration, movie, first meeting of Thalia; + rant

Dec 31, 2004 01:39

Today Jameu took me down to Toronto (and refused to tell me that that was where we were going LOL). He showed me the CN Tower and we were gonna go in but the line was long and he figured it was too expensive (we didn't know the price) so instead we wondered around. Downtown Toronto is VERY similar to downtown Vancouver; incredably reminicent. We passed a theatre and he decided that since there was nothing to do that we'd catch Phantom of the Opera today. We bought our tickets and had some time to kill.

While we were in the comic store he got a call from Thalia; he had been whining about wanting her to call for a fare amount of time before that. He told her to spend the day with us =_=() Not exactly someone I wanted to meet. I had stolen his hat on the bus and hadn't given it back yet as I felt it's return hadn't yet been earned; I took this oppertunity to give it back to him because then I wouldn't have to talk to him anymore till we met up with the girl thing. If I had spoken, it wouldn't have been good words, so I figured I was doing him a favor by keeping my mouth shut. I was mad, and my feelings were very hurt. I hid under my jacket hood.

Ok, dudes, I'm sorry but the entire time I've been down we've been surrounded by people and maybe, just maybe, I'd like to spend one day alone with the friend I came down here to visit! I did not come down here to meet all these other people. And I was never even told she was invited! If I had someone over at my place I would most *certainly* ask them if it was alright with them if someone else tagged along because 9 times outta 10 it's not! People want to spend time with people they know, not people they don't. And besides that, he knew right well that I'm not fond of her, and yet he goes and invites her to the one thing that was supposed to be ours (the movie) ARG! X_X

She asked why I came down here, and James said "to be with me." Maybe he should try to keep that in mind.

Being with her ruined the rest of the day. I was having fun exploring. But jeeze, I really wish I hadn't met her, and I *refuse* to be around her again. She is insainly loud, NEVER SHUTS UP, has the most stupid things to say, is more repetative then even me, and drones on and on and on endlessly about whatever random thing she choses; she's worse then Brian!. Also, she is insane! Not in a good way either, I mean an annoying way. She's such a nut case you'd swear she was a drunk if you didn't know that she actually doesn't drink (think person going down the street yelling random nonesenceical things at the top of her lungs to the world). I have no idea as to wether or not I enjoyed Phanton of the Opera because LITERALLY every 5 minutes she had to talk and make a comment! ARG I can't stand it when people chatter in a movie theatre! When you pay that much money to see a show (and it was over priced as it was; 6$ more then the theatre near me and 2$ more then the Vancouver theatres) you want to actually be able to HEAR the show, and maybe even enjoy the show while you're at it!! =_=

I of course felt like a third wheel; he was way too preoccupied with her to give a damn bout me being there, and even got mad at me for sitting in between them! O____O Dude, it was the order we sat down/walked in in, not some sort of separation plot =_= It felt like the purpose of our traveling all the way out there was soley to see her T_T

The best conversation of the day was when James and I got home and talked with Leif about super heros/super powers (+ related bad guys); that was awesome fun ^_^ Then James ran downstairs rather abruptly to go to bed which was unfortunate because I wanted to give him a hug and say thank you for taking me out. Even if I have now lost my sanity, it was still very VERY good to be out of the house all day.
