Author's Notes: I hope you Hizumi fans are happy I gave him more lines now.

Karyu sits back on the couch with Zero and listens to Hizumi’s recording behind the glass. He glances over at Tsukasa, noticing his foot moving to the beat of the music. He leans over and whispers to Zero, “Did you talk to Uruha about the bill?”

Zero glances at him and answers softly, “Not yet. I got distracted.”

“You really need to get your focus back and be serious about this.”

“I know, but he told me that he was gonna take me on vacation after our last live of the year.”

“Oh, I bet he’s gonna use your money to pay for it all.”

“I’ll make sure he won’t.”

Karyu laughs a little. “Yeah, right. You’re too distracted by that whore’s sex appeal.”

“Alright, I think we’re done for the day. See you guys in a couple weeks,” Tsukasa announces, before talking to the studio coordinator.

Hizumi steps out the recording booth, digs out a cigarette from his pocket, and makes his exit out the recording area. He walks outside, lights up, and places the cancer stick between his lips. He glances over at the door as he hears it close and looks away once he sees the bassist join him for a smoke.

“It’s been a while since we’ve talked alone, ne?” Zero says, offering a smile as he lights up.

The vocalist continues smoking silently and watches a couple cars pass by. He shoves his free hand in his jacket pocket and exhales a cloud of smoke.

“Have you made up with your friend yet?”

Hizumi looks over at his band mate seriously and says, “I already know you’ve been seeing Uruha for a couple weeks and you really should take caution when dealing with him.”

“What are you talking about?”

“He hasn’t told you everything about himself, has he?”

“What? Like he works at a couple clubs as a bartender and a stripper?”

“Heh…I guess he hasn’t. You should break up with him,” he advises, inhaling deeply.

“You have no right to tell me who and who not I can date and I don’t appreciate you harassing my boyfriend, because you’re jealous of us working out better than you and him ever could,” Zero states.

“Harass?” Hizumi laughs a bit,” “I haven’t done anything to Uruha. He’s making up stories.”

“Why would Uruha lie to me? I’ve been nothing but good to him,” Zero defends, feeling his blood slowly boil.

“Because your boyfriend is crazy and he already knows how to manipulate you,” the vocalist says softly with a little smirk, taking one last puff.

“Uruha had you wrapped around his too.”

“Not as much as you,” he says, putting out the cigarette with his foot, “At least I have a backbone.” He smiles a bit to himself and walks away. “Good luck, Zero~ You’ll need it.’’

Zero watches the other walk off and blinks a bit to himself. He sighs, takes a long drag, and flicks the cigarette off, before going to his car.

“So, he really said that?” Karyu says on the other end of the phone.

“Yep, but I don’t know what to believe,” the bassist sighs, taking a left turn at a traffic light.

“Well, you’ve known Hizumi for nearly nine years and you’ve only been dating Uruha for two weeks.”

“But how do I know that he’s not exaggerating?”

“That’s your call, but honestly, I’d believe Hizumi,” Karyu admits.

“Why do you say that?”

“Because he threatened me, Zero. I think you need to stop believing everyone’s jealous of your relationship with Uruha. If Hizumi really wanted him back, I’m sure you would know,” the guitarist explains, “Seriously, I think you should keep your dick in your pants and try to get to know him, especially if he has another profession he hasn’t told you about.”

“I think the hidden profession might be a bunch of bull shit, since Hizumi didn’t even tell me what it was,” Zero scoffs, turning into the parking lot of the apartment complex.

“Well, he does have a reason to keep that information disclosed. At least he warned you and practically told you the same thing a certain guitarist said.”

“I suppose,” he sighs, “I bet it’s nothing.”

“You never know, Zero. But I’d rather you be safe than sorry.”

“If you say so. I’ll talk to him when he comes home.”

“Alright. Good luck,” Karyu says, before they both hang up.

Zero gets out the car, ruffles his hair, and heads up to the apartment. He unlocks the door, slips his shoes and jacket off, and heads to the kitchen to prepare some dinner for them.

‘I wonder what Uruha might be hiding from me. It can’t be too terrible. He’s already constantly surrounded by drunken, horny men and women at clubs. And nothing could be worse than being a stripper and possibly a part time prostitute, but even then I can’t help but wonder if he’s used Hizumi’s money as much as he has with me.’

”…he already knows how to manipulate you,” Hizumi says.

‘It can’t be. This hasn’t happened before. I’ve broken up with my last couple girlfriends for using me, so I know Uruha isn’t doing the same.’

”At least I have a backbone,” the vocalist says with a bit of a smile.

“Zero, I’m home~” a sweet voice interrupts Zero’s thoughts.

The bassist looks toward the door and smiles, then looks down at the shipping bags in Uruha’s hands. “I thought you had to work tonight.”

“I did. They gave me some awesome clothes after the show for our vacation. I hope you don’t mind that I used your card to pay for our vacation to Hawaii,” he says casually, going to their bedroom.

“You did what!?” Zero exclaims, following the other to their room.

“Don’t worry, honey, I’ll take care of everything else on our trip,” he promises, sealing it with a loving kiss. “Now, I set the reservations up so we can stay for Christmas and New Years and we’ll be coming back the week after that.”

“Wait…I can’t do that.”

“Why not?”

“We have a special fanclub live schedule three days after New Years.”

“Oh,” Uruha pauses in thought, holding the new clothes in his hand, “Then skip it.”

“I can’t skip it! It’s a fanclub event~” he explains.

“Perhaps you should consider quitting the band. I already know the perfect person to take your position at work too.”

“I can’t quit the band! Music is my life and I’m not ready to abandon it yet. How am I suppose to support myself!?”

Uruha folds up a shirt calmly, walks over to Zero, and cups his cheeks, then leans in for a slow, passionate kiss. He lets their tongues tangle for a moment and threads his fingers in Zero’s hair, sucking on his tongue a bit. He pulls away and smiles. “You can be my manager and I’ll support you.”

“It won’t be the same, baby,” the bassist sighs, slipping his arm around his waist loosely.

“Think about it and you can make your decision in the new year,” Uruha compromises.
