1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
A lot of things, actually. Finally went to New York City, finally picked a fight with someone I hated, and proposed to a celebrity I have a massive crush on.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Didn't have any. New Years' Resolutions are never meant to be kept anyway: we just do them to make ourselves feel worthwhile. I probably won't make some for next year other than "keep my head above water". (Copied from last year)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My friend Brittany had her second son this year. He's adorable and he likes me! ^^;
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, and I thank God for that.
5. What countries did you visit?

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
Confidence in myself.

New York Comic Con when I proposed to Shane West and professed my love to Maggie Q.

Graduating college and finishing NaNoWriMo 2011. Also, getting a tweet through to NATHAN FUCKING FILLION, THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. *___*
9. What was your biggest failure?
Being a good friend, apparently.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Castle Season 3 for $20. Un-fucking-believable price. Normally, it's about $35. I love holiday sales online.

My new roommate Aisha. She is the anti-CP. She cooks, she's a nerd, she's funny, she's sweet, and she loves everyone in this apartment.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
She knows who she is.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Food, gas, and movies.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
NEW YORK COMIC CON. And also, Thor, Captain America, and Sherlock Holmes II.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier, for once.
ii. thinner or fatter? About the same.
iii. richer or poorer? Poorer but only because I just bought all my X-Mas presents.

Studying during finals. Maybe exercising too.

Not studying during finals. xD
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Spent it with immediate family down in Ocala, FL. Had an amazing time and I hated having to come back to Athens as a result.
21. At any point in the past year did you do something that you consider completely out of your usual character? I picked a fight with my roommate via cell phone, not because I was actually angry, but because I wanted to piss her off and get her mad as revenge for the utterly horrible experience I had living with her for two years straight. It was the most cathartic and yet out of character thing I've ever done and it was so worth it.
22. Did you fall in love in 2011?
No, unless you count me totally falling back in love with Shane West.
23. How many one-night stands?
TWELVE! xDD No, I'm kidding. None. AGAIN. T-T
24. What was your favorite TV program?
Castle, hands down. Special mention goes to Justified, Archer, Nikita, and the Colbert Report.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yes. And again, she knows who she is.
26. What was the best book you read this year?
I'm an English major. I read a TON of books this year so it's kind of hard for me to answer that, really. I guess The Tiger's Wife by Tea Obrecht was pretty good.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Forks and Knives by Beirut, Jacket by Shallow Gravy, Superconductor by Beautiful Small Machines, Sour Cherry by the Kills, and Something That I Want by Grace Potter.
28. What did you want and get?
Rango, Castle Season 3, Castle 2012 calendar, a Garmin, and cash from my relatives for graduation. Also, my uncle got me a fucking Kindle Fire and I'm still in shock about that. I didn't even want one, but it's so cool and sweet that he bought it for me.
29. What did you want and not get?
Justified and Archer Seasons 1 & 2. They are just too expensive for me to afford.
30. What was your favorite film of this year? It's a tie between Thor and Rango.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
My roommates and I went to dinner and had frozen yogurt and cake. The cake was red velvet and insanely delicious. I turned 23.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If I'd have gotten LAID. Yeah. >.>
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
"MY SHOULDERS ARE AWESOME PLEASE LOOK AT THEM."
34. What kept you sane?
My music, occasional Terry smut fantasies, and my awesome support system. Especially Erica and Moises. I wouldn't have made it through this year without them.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Nathan Fillion and Shane West. Nathan is gorgeous, fun, sweet, and a total nerd while Shane is cool, laid back, and very sweet.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
I suppose it would be the SOPA bill, but I honestly think that it's just a plot to get everyone all riled up against Congress. Granted, I did my part and signed the petition but I'm a bit cynical about the entire thing.
37. Who did you miss?
Surprisingly, my parents towards the end of the year. I usually don't miss them that much.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Aisha, by far. She is the best roommate ever.
