So...I moved out of my shitty ass apartment.
*confetti, balloons, and hookers drop down from the ceiling singing "We Are the Champions"*
Great news, innit? Anyway, big huge kudos go out to nochi_san and her younger brother The Twip for driving all the way up from Bumfuck Nowhere GA to help me move. Surprisingly, moving out was just as fun as moving in because of the two of them. We had eighty bajillion hiccups but it all ended up working out. I don't move into the new place until Aug. 11th so I had to throw my shit in storage 15 mins outside of town. After we moved out, Aki and the Twip came back to Mableton with me to stay the night and go to Thuy's birthday party at Joe's Crab Shack today. Dinner was awesome but overpriced (Aki: I'M SO SORRRRRRYYYYYYY! T-T). Then after that, I found out Aru (footprint) just got a new puppy so we stopped at her house for a couple of hours and cooed over her incredibly adorable little puppy (who we have named Fidel after Fidel Castro because Aru names all her pets after communist leaders for some reason) until it got late.
Oh, and before all the moving I went to Aki's Camp Merriweather and met her friends. Mostly Tinkerbell and Strider. Who are fucking awesome. And I love them. \0/
So Thursday through today has been really awesome--so much so that I'm waiting for something horrible to happen to counter it all. Just look at the list:
-Got to hang out with my BFF and her brother
-Left my shitty apartment for good
-Met awesome new people and had dinner at a great restaurant
-Had crab legs for the first time in almost a year (maybe more)
-Played with the cutest puppy in the universe
-Stole all the Castle episodes from Aki's laptop
-Should be getting my laptop back sometime this week
-Got to hang out with Aru
-Caught the new, exciting True Blood tonight
I hate waiting for the other shoe to drop. In the mean time...how ya'll been? =3
