Home again home again Jiggity Jig
I'm back from my erstwhile journey to become a human popsicle. Ironically the every famous Chicago was going through a heatwave when I arrived, it was actually about 30degrees, however by the time I left a massive snow storm moved in and it dipped to -30 with the wind chill....yes it was FArgin COLd!
I did however find out a whole lot of interesting things related to my job.....unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it. I will be doing a whole lot more work......job security at it's best I guess. Now if only they throw in that raise.....
In other news while I was coming home from the airport I was pleased to find that 100.5 has been turned into 100.5 Atlanta's Rock station....I was skeptical at first, but then they played "Holy Diver" from Dio...it was one of those moments of epiphany where you just relax and soak it all in. I was serenaded a few minutes later by "I Wanna Rock" by Twisted Sister. Ahhhhh it was a great ride home from the airport. I dont' know if I was just listening to the request line around that time of night, or if they are really going to live up to the name "Rock" station. I can only hope. There hasn't been a decent "Rock" station since Z93....wow thats old... :)
